I buy once a month and smoke. Great quality and price. . These days you can't blindly buy everything from a single store. But for this fish I will purchase from Sams again.

Sam's Club Farm Fresh Steelhead Trout is absolutely delicious. I'm hoping to purchase a case to keep in my freezer so that I can have it as often as I like.

These filets look awesome in the package. However, like all farm raised fish this fish is pretty mushy. I purchased this to smoke. I cut it into smaller portions and handling it was problematic. I will try this and if it's sub par I won't use it to smoke anymore. At 8 dollars a pound, we'll see. I would buy this to bake whole or halved in an oven or grill or smoker. Possibly next time I'll try the skinless filets Sam's offers?

This trout tastes okay and very similar to salmon for a lower cost. However, there is definitely color added to it because it leaves a very bright orange-hued fish oil on everything it touches. Not all fish oils are clear obviously, but this looks extremely unnatural.

I used to work at Fishhouse….. no clue why I thought it would be a good idea to try this steelhead from sams….. they have great food…. This fish… was inedible…. Absolutely disgusting fishy rotting harbor seal smell and taste……wow…. I never write reviews but MY GOSH this should not have 4.5 stars…….do these people have taste buds or a sense of smell?! Yikes!

Very reasonably priced. Always fresh. The Member’s Mark Farm Raised Steelhead Trout is one of the main reasons we drive the distance we do to shop at Sam’s. It is absolutely delicious and a meal favorite at our house. Great baked/steamed in foil in the oven or grilled the same way.

This is more moist & flavorful than salmon and it's significantly cheaper.This is high quality enough for a special celebratory meal but it's also affordable too.It's great baked with some olive oil rubbed on it & topped with some grated aged cheese.^_^

Price a little high for Lake Trout, but taste is good!
