Why sell a trash can that is this cool (and advertise it) with no trash bags available for sale in a 21 gallon size? I just assumed that if a retailer would sell this that there would be trash bags for sale in this size. I bought the D batteries so that the trashcan could work then realized after searching online and going to commom stores to buy trashbags that they don't sell trash bags that are 21 gallon unless you buy them from specialty retailers which are fairly pricey and not ideal to rely on having to buy your trash bags online when you run out. Having to return this techy TC this week. (I figured Sams would at least have offered a 21 gal trash bag option online but nope)

I bought it about 3 years ago. It still works great and I haven’t had any issues with it. The batteries last around 12 months. I use 30 gallon bags in it. This allows room to add trash from small containers the bathrooms and office, after it has been removed from the can. I would definitely buy it again and have recommended it to family and friends.

I have a small bathroom size one of these and it has been flawless in operation. I decided to go for the big 21 gallon kitchen one. Same outcome. These are well made and last. I like the option of going manual mode. Push button to open. It stays open until you push the close button. The automatic mode is good too. Ours is close to the stove so it often is triggered to open when we didn't mean to. No big deal. The batteries last a long time.I cannot fault this device except it does not have a hard plastic insert can and the bag tries to catch on the metal rim as you remove the bag. Some tape on the lip may fix it.

I love this trash can! I now take my trash out less because its bigger than the traditional 13 gallon. On top of that, I've had this trashcan now for 8-10 months and the batteries havent died yet! Only thing, the sensor can be a lil sensitive if you walk by a little too close. Other than that, great product

You have to send a photo of your receipt to activate your warranty and complete a paper warranty form. I don't have a receipt because I bought online. All this should be accomplished online. The product quality is ok. The garbage can is lite which I prefer. I hope it's high strength.

Great sized trash can, bags, either 30 gallon black or Nine Stars 21 gallon bags (sold at Walmart) fit perfectly with no bag showing. For me, this eliminates 3 past problems: 1) foot pedal trashcan foot mechanism breaking 2) food on the bottom of lid 3) hard to remove/change trash bags. This lid is very quiet, it’s sensitive, but doesn’t bang the cabinet like with a foot pedal. 2 year manufacturer warranty. My review does not account for longevity but first impressions are excellent.

Large Capacity! We wanted a large capacity trash can for our kitchen. All the other stainless steel cans were too small and could barely handle a day or two of trash. This one is great. The automatic lid was a bonus. Even our dog enjoys stuffing the motion sensor.

In our house, standard 13 gallon trashcan seems to fill up in sn instant. This can holds the load, and keeps the "take the trash out" chore, a lot less frequent. Yes the can is expensive, and some people would argue that the sensor opening and closing is frivolous. So far, the feature has been very useful. In the past 2 years , I have had to replace 2 cheaper cans that added up, cost more than this one, so by hopefully buying quality, we will get many years of service from this can.

Where have you been all my life! the only time I touch the can is to change the bag. And speaking of the bag, the can comes with a top ring to hold the bag in place no sliding into the can. Auto lid open and close. 22.5 gal can holds more trash than the usual13gal can. Love it!!!! Love it!!!!! Buy it, you will be pleased.

I am wondering about replacement parts?? I Purchased mine in the box had been opened and then stapled back shed and I didn’t pay attention to it till later a friend told me that it was supposed to have a ring that fit under the lid that held the bag in place and mine did not come with that I am wondering where I can obtain the replacement part
