I tasted a sample a few weeks ago and promptly went to the bakery department and purchased one. It is delicious! My impromptu purchase was ill timed as I was heading out of town the next day. I didn't want to waste it so I cut it into serving sizes and added them to small freezer containers, hoping it would hold up to the freezing process. YES IT DID ! When I returned home, I grabbed one of my eight frozen serving containers and let it thaw. I will be purchasing this in the future!

The cake is dry and the frosting isn’t good. It doesn’t have the usual cream cheese richness, and it has a chemical aftertaste. I really wanted to love this as we got it for my birthday, but it was a disappointment. I absolutely would not recommend it. I don’t know if there’s inconsistencies in batches and maybe some taste better than others… but I won’t be giving it a second chance to find out.

Too sweet for my taste. To be fair I never liked icing as that's also too sweet for my liking. For comparison, I loved the tres leches which is spongier, softer and using whipped cream instead. Would love to see a carrot cake where you can taste the ingredients but this is not it for me.
