Uses tread fast

I bought these and only got 45,000 miles out of them. One tire is down to 2/32 and the others 3/32. It's rainy season and I don't feel comfortable driving on them anymore, so I'm buying some new tires. I really wanted to get some Michelin Premier A/S again, but unsure if I should do so since they are EXTREMELY expensive for the mileage you get out of them. I always have the tires rotated and balanced, so that's why I'm so disappointed with how long they last. I know it was close, but the Continentals that came with the car got 53k miles, and looked a little better than my current Michelins at 45k miles. I may be able to squeeze another 2k miles out of them, but my family's safety isn't worth risky for those extra miles. I think at minimum for the amount you spend on these you should easily get 50k miles out of them without worry about the safety of driving on them to get your money out of them. Michelin rates these at 60k miles, but I'm 15k miles away from that. I'm torn on buying these again, because they handled awesome in the rain. I will say these handled MUCH better than the Continental ProContacts and Pirelli P7's we used in the past, but the miles you get out of them is just disappointing. The tread is about 8.5/32, which isn't much.

This tire saved my life

I was driving on the wet highway changing lanes suddenly there was stopped vehicle in front of me at 90 km an hour I had to swerve to avoid this vehicle the tires in the wet gripped like they were on a rails. The tires were 5O% worn out at the time. In the heavy snow thet are ok i have AWD.

Excelent tire!

This is the third set of Michelin tires I've purchased over the years. I've never been dissatisfied. There is an old saying, "People are willing to pay for quality." It was true then and still is. Don't ever change your quality controle standards. People will continue to buy this great product.

Best Tire

I just got these tires on, so this comment is not going to be on how long the tire will last. (eventhough, I know they will last long) I replaced a set of almost new tires from another brand. I have to say, as soon as I started driving, I noticed a night and day difference on the noise. These tires are very quiet yet also very comfortable with the handling. It is winter and full of snow in Manitoba here, but they feel like winter tire under wet conditions. I will never use any other brand for my car again. I recomand to spend a little more on the tires, they will be so worth it in the long run, and you worry less and last longer.

Expensive Garbage!

I ran MXV4s on my Honda Accord until they were discontinued. Went with the Premier A/S and have regretted it ever since. I could get 55,000-60,000 miles out of a set of MXV4s and they never seemed to get loud even when they were nearing the end of their tread life. Had the car inspected today and was told that they barely passed and I will need new tires next year. So I will end up getting maybe 40,000 miles out of a set of these garbage rim protectors. Pitiful tread life, high road noise and I feel every bump in the road. These were expensive tires and they have been a complete disappointment. Want a quality tire that lasts, look elsewhere.

Fantastic Tire!

My car came stock with 215/55R17 94H Nexen CP671s and the traction they provided was terrible. The tires were like hockey pucks, didn't provide any good levels of traction in bad weather. Decided to upgrade to the Premier A/S tire and wow what a difference. The ride is smooth and responsive and I feel safe driving on them. Had to emergency stop in the rain once and the car didn't loose traction at all! I have always had good experience with Michelin tires and now I doubt I will buy anything else. I was also late on putting my winter tires on and they provided enough traction in snow to allow me to feel safe driving on them.

Premier A/S Great!

Had these three+ years. 60,000 miles later with 4/32nds, Great performers. On Interstate, cruising at 75 in rainstorm when everybody else creeping along. No noticeable hydroplaning. Have dealer balance tires. Costs a little more but balance more true and almost no vibration at speeds less than 85.

Aweful treadlife!

My Honda Odyssey has all new OEM suspension and I keep them rotated and I'm not even going to make it to 15,000 miles. This is absolutely insane. I was expecting at least half because I live in Arizona and it's very hot and I understand these are a soft compound tire which is why they ride so amazing. Problem is I have to wait until they gets to 2/32 and then replace the two that are really bad and wait for the other two and have them staggered. Which doesn't help if I need to take a trip with my family. I have been a long-term Michelin customer but I'm just sick and tired of dealing with ridiculous treadwear. if you've got money to burn, these are great tires because they do ride amazing. But the mileage I'm getting is going to be very similar to what I got out of the last Pilot Super Sports I had on my Acura. Heck, even the AS3+s that I have on my all-wheel drive Acura are wearing better then the tires on my Honda Odyssey

So Far Great Tires

I bought a set of four, three months ago. I use my car for mostly highway driving to and from work. Wet traction and breaking is fantastic!! I feel much more confident and safe when it is wet outside even with significant water on the road. There is a noticeable reduction in noise compared to original tires (can't remember make and model) that came on the car. They were two years old when I replaced them. I haven't seen a decrease or increase in gas mileage. I really did a lot of research and shopping around before deciding to go with this make and model of tire. So far I am very happy I decided on these tires. No cons at this point in time.
