This tire is very quiet around town and on the highway, and has worn well over about 30k miles. Traction has been great through rain and snow.

best on rining day

Put these on Wife's 2013 Accord @ 63K miles.  Rotated every oil change(7.5-10K).  Now have 128K and looking at replacing them.  I'm about 1mm above the wear bars.  About to purchase the exact same tire to replace them.  Extremely good handling and wear pattern.

Good Tire, Lasted 65K Miles

Bought 4 of these on 11/15/2014 at 36,328 odometer miles.  Great riding tire, but today, at 61,905 miles, my auto dealer service dept. says I need to replace them.  They showed me the diagnostic and it looks like they're right.  I only drive about 7,000 miles/year, safe driver, etc. so I've had less than 26,000 miles off of these.  What about the 60,000 mile warranty?  Very disappointed right now.  : (

Wears out too soon?

I bought these tires for a 2013 Toyota Avalon Limited Hybrid.  They are size 255/55R17 94V.  Within two days, my gas mileage dropped by 2 mpg.  Though it was less, I didn't initially consider the loss of gas mileage significant because it went from 39 mpg to 37 mpg. That's still good mileage in my opinion.  A more troublesome problem for me is the noise.  These tires whine on the smoothest roads and are even more noisy on rough roads. I only have 3,000 miles on these tires so far; so I can't really comment on wear.  So far they seem to handle and stop very well.  In hindsight, I wish I had purchased Continental PureContact tires.  They have better rolling resistance than the Michelins.   hope to update this review when I have more miles on the tires.

Less Mileage/More Noise

Purchase Michelin Premier A/S Tire  60,000 Miles Treadwear. I drove only 25,837 miles on these tires and "America's Tire" Dealer told me the treads were very low and recommended replacement of the tires soon as possible for safety.

Got Lemon Michelin Premier A/S Tires from Dealer "America's Tire" or Michelin advertise false tread life on Michelin Premier A/S Tires.

Tire has only lasted 38,367 miles purchased in May 01,2022 and thread won't pass inspection come Feb 2026

Not a good tire

Bought a set in March of 2019 and here it is November of 20 and I'm replacing them. I'll never buy a set of Michelins again even my tire shop tired to warn me but I was too stubborn to listen. They only come with 8.5/32nds of tread brand new when other tires range from 9-12/32nds for alot less money. These are at the wear bars and in rain I'm sliding all over the place. This was my 1st and last experience with Michelins! I had really hoped that with such a good name they would wow me but I have been sorely disappointed. Now here's hoping they stand behind that 60,000 mile warranty and give me some credit to buy a different brand of tires.

done at 45000 miles

I always buy Michelin Tires and have always paid what has seemingly been a higher premium vs other options at the time but based on this last set of Premier A/S I think I may try a different brand in the next few weeks. These tires on my 2008 Lexus ES350 have lasted only half their stated treadwear and this is on a vehicle that is never driven aggressively, etc...  I feel bad because normally I don’t even look closely at other brands but literally 15-20k into these tires I almost felt the need to replace them...  now at about 30k I feel like I can’t consider going into the next winter so I’m now starting to  assess the options available and will likely make a purchase here in the next week.

Do Not Purchase!!

Purchased 7/2017 and rotated every 6k -7k. I have 28,000 miles on these tires and treadwear is down to 4/32. Still fine in dry weather, just ok in rain and unsafe in snow. Tires are on a 2005 Honda Accord 4 cylinder, not a sports car. Warranty claim opened with Michelin and we will see what happens.
