The big pieces are raw 😭 I didn’t realize until I had taken 2-3 bites

Literally My New Favorite Meal!

This is the BEST orange chicken I have ever eaten! It is better than any Chinese takeout I have tried. It is SO easy and fast to make, which makes it even better! I pair it with the Minute White Rice and Minh Pork Egg Rolls and it is seriously the best meal ever! I hope I can always find this at my Sam’s Clubs!

don’t like it

Texture is great when air frying but the sauce is extremely vinegary. It even burned my nose. No sweetness to it at all just vinegar. Tried without the sauce but that way it’s tasteless. Chicken quality seams good but huge and tiny pieces mixed up. Won’t buy it again as I can’t stand the sauce.

Amazing!

Taste like the orange chicken that I buy from a mom and pop shop. Recommend baking the chicken for 15 minutes in and airfryer. As the chicken is cooking heat up a cup of water and place sauce packet inside. Once the chicken is done you take the sauce packet out the cup, cut the corner of the bag and drizzle across the chicken. If you have a container that would be best to use to shake up the chicken and the sauce so all pieces are coated.

This is pretty foul fowl

This is honestly, hands-down, the worst orange chicken I have ever eaten. For what it is, it seems like a bargain, but it is far from. I really wanted to like it, but this is a huge miss for Sam's. Let's start with the only nice thing I have to say because, unfortunately, there is not a lot of good here. The chicken itself was obviously fried prior to packaging, and it comes out crispy from either the oven or air fryer. Sadly, that's the only positive thing I have to say about it. The breading is thiccccckkkkkkk. This is clearly a cost saving for the producer, because oil-soaked breading is a lot cheaper than chicken. Speaking of chicken, this is literally a mixed bag. The sizing is all over the place, and many pieces have the texture and mouthfeel of ground up chicken paste. Is it all white meat? Sure, technically, but my money says it has been bleached, because there are veins, tendons, and off cuts here and there. To make it even worse, not that I thought they could, the sauce is absolutely horrendous. It doesn't taste like orange. It doesn't smell like orange. It is thin and slightly sweet but is overwhelmed by vinegar, and I mean a LOT of vinegar. It almost smacks of eating a bowl of chicken parts with a cup of warm apple cider vinegar. Pick any frozen, generic Dino Nugget wannabe and you're going to get less breading and higher quality chicken. Whoever the buyer is for this at Sam's should be fired. This is an abomination.

Soooooo good and tasty!

This is so good and our family loves it! Love the taste of the sauce and the chicken tastes great as well. Every now and then we will get quite a few pieces that are just hard breading but not very often. I make this with white rice and a pack of the steamed Normandy veggies and it hits the Chinese spot when we want to stay at home!
