I have had this for just over a month and am extremely pleased with the picture quality and the Smart features which allow me to use all my streaming apps. My one criticism is about the sound inconsistencies from channel to channel. I find myself having to turn the sound way up for some programs and down for others. It is a bit frustrating. I may end up installing a surround sound system to help.

i had an old tv and this is my first ever tv purchase. it wasnt overly expensive but it still seems fancy. samsung tv plus is cool. i dont like the remote the pause and start button are tiny and hard to find in the dark. i wish it had a search audio feature. the interface where all the apps are is linear and doesnt populate by most recently used so i do alot of scrolling to continue my last episode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recommended this TV and so I bought it with the primary intent to use it for gaming and watching shows via streaming. One of my favorite features about the TV is the dedicated gaming mode. It makes games smooth and clear. Another feature that I like is the ability to turn on my gaming console by simply pressing the Power button on the remote. The quality of the picture when watching movies or shows are also great. The TV has various apps that you can download and has numerous settings that you can change to personalize it the way you want. The only downside to it is that there are only two HDMI ports, so you may need to buy a HDMI splitter or just plug in and unplug other HDMI cords if you have multiple devices. Overall it's a good TV for gaming and watching movies with a minor downside of having only two HDMI ports while also being budget friendly.

The fact that you can make play sound through a Bluetooth speaker is a plus. Especially if you live in a small space and can't put a big sound system in. Easy to set up right out of the box. One surprise I had was the 200 built in free channels. You can still hook up a digital antenna and get more free channels. This is the best TV that I've ever owned. Thanks Samsung!

Being in my 20's, I wanted a TV that my company can enjoy for movie nights, sports games, and binging on reality shows. My only requirement was to have a decent size clear screen, and of course one compatible for streaming and a variety of apps. I conducted research on several TVs, most were streaming compatible and around the same price range. However, in person the Samsung TV display has impeccable clarity that surpassed the others and the embedded speakers are top notch, featuring a movie theater-like quality. Assembly was easy using the instructions, making the set-up time minimal. I'm most appreciative of the ease of the technology utilized for personal set-up. Samsung provides an app feature called “Smart Things” that allows you to manage all TV features (i.e. sleep mode, remote, sound, internet connectivity, universal app management) and sync any other Samsung products should you choose to expand, ensuring utmost effectiveness. I am beyond happy with this TV! I received way more than I paid for! All features are advanced yet simple to navigate. Samsung provides many options: Display, Sound, and app viewing showing you your free options and options available for purchase. The most surprising is that there is SamsungTV that has numerous free channels to watch. It's much more than a TV, and I will definitely be buying more products. Thank you Samsung!

definitely love the new tv. i've had a samsung 40" for the last 8+ years and only bought this cause i wanted 4k. definitely great picture quality and sound is much better than i expected (without a soundbar). my main issues are with the lag in response when i press a button on the remote. also, with my previous samsung i was up and watching a program in less than 5 minutes from of setup. with this one it took close to 20 mins (downloading app, setting up an account, and then setting up the tv). i bought a tv to watch and the initial experience was bad, to say the least. otherwise, i'm very happy with the tv.

It's very lightweight and extremely thin which makes the setup quick and wall mounting feel very secure, even if you skip out on purchasing a top of the line wall-mount and settle for a more budget friendly version. The interface is very intuitive and made setting up my video game consoles, surround sound system, and cable box very easy; and switching between them is easier then ever before since the TV can power on those accessories by itself so you don't need to turn them on separately. Unlike my previous TV, the apps load quickly and stream without crashing or interference even after using it for extended periods of time, and there is no little to no lag when navigating menus or using the built-in TV guide to select what to watch. I love the TV's functionality with the the Samsung Smart Things app as well as digital assistants like Alexa, Google Home, or Bixby is extremely useful. With the newly included ambiance mode, this TV has become the centerpiece of our living room and my family has enjoyed many nights around it together watching our favorite programming. All in all, an 10/10 TV that I would (and have) absolutely recommend to friends and family, and wouldn't hesitate to buy again for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We liked and bought Samsung TVs in the past but we are very disappointed in Samsung with the last one we purchased. It failed after 1 year. The main board B94-16105B (versionYE02) failed 2 months after the year warranty. I went to several tv repair shops and searched the internet and no one still has the board and can't get one. They all carry main boards for all other Samsung models except this model (UN58TU700DFXZA). This model must have been a ''lemon'' but Samsung did not notified the public. Please let me know where I can purchase this board. (B94-16105B version YE02) or please give me a contact number as to how to order this board.
