[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super easy to set up. The remote and tv settings themselves worked perfectly with my Direct TV as well as all of the apps! The picture is amazingly clear and I love the options for different picture types depending on what I am watching!! We are very happy with this TV!!
Quality
bought a 58 inch samsung in november 2020, picture was great, loved the extra channels with samsung plus, but about 3 weeks ago started getting bad pixels on the bottom of the screen, last night it completely went out, in the middle of watching a show, there appeared a brown spot as if the film was melting, at first we thought it was the station, but realized it was the tv when we could not get any other stations, seems this model was not reliable as, this size tv is no longer being made. very disappointed would have thought it would have lasted longer than 20 months, hope the 43 inch samsung i bought for the bedroom a year ago lasts longer than that

Best Option
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to Value, this is it! If you are budget minded but want a great TV, read on. Let's start with the basics... size & weight: 58” is perfect for me, big enough but not too big as to require a 2nd person to help set up. I was able to carry this in its box up the stairs all by myself. Bezels were super thin as were all other dimensions. Picture quality: 4K resolution was crazy sharp. Brightness was excellent even in brightly lit room. I also used this TV as a monitor for PC and game consoles and it was also good. Refresh rate could be better but at this price point, you can't ask for better. I use it primarily for movies and this is where it excels. Picture quality was excellent even with lower 1080 resolution. I'm no expert on technical stuff but it has the capability to upscale what you're watching to 4K. I'm sure it's not true 4K but honestly, it would be tough to tell the difference... and only if you have a side by side comparison. Most of my content is in 1080p and replacing then with 4K is not easy not to mention costly and time consuming. I LOVE that I can keep my collection of 100's of 1080p movies and be able to watch them in near 4K quality. The most important thing when shopping for a TV is picture quality and what you pay for it and this absolutely checks that box. Sound quality: Better than expected for built in speakers... I have external speaker for watching movies and definitely recommend it but for everyday media like news, sports, or YouTube videos, it's perfectly fine. Smart TV: this is a smart TV and does all the things that a smart TV needs to do. I use this function extensively with Amazon Alexa as well as Google assistant. I have several smart Cameras connected around the house and can view them all on this TV. I also use the mirror and or cast function on my phone and tablet and that works flawlessly. I also have Apple TV in 4K that I haven't set up yet but it should also work fine allowing me to mirror iOS devices. Aside from picture quality, this is the 2nd most important function and this TV continues to check the boxes. Conclusion: there is one thing that could be improved and that is the available connections. In this day and age with all the different devices that most of us use, available connections are limited. I had to add a hub in order to connect everything... but other than that, I would have to give this an overall score of 9 out of 10. But a 9.9 for value... because nothing is perfect!
Easy smart tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was simple enough to get this in use pretty quick. I do love that it is so much easier to mirror from my phone with this tv. It can easily be used by itself without the need of other devices because it has apps already loaded on it. I was so surprised that it also had the sumsung channels on it as well so if you don't have an antenna, you can use the Samsung free channel and still enjoy watching TV and there are a lot of channels on it. The remote has premade buttons and it works with my firestick. There is a guide built in it, making it easy to see whats coming on next. This is a very nice smart tv to have as an upgrade. I would recommend this tv!
Poor Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I would not have purchase this TV , it has poor volume on it . You have to max out the volume to be able to hear and that is still not loud enough . I will never purchase a Samsung TV or any other product again.
Hi JamieJ, I am so sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your TU7000 TV's volume quality. Samsung prides itself on high-quality products and a great customer experience. Please know we are here to help you. There are several features you can adjust that may help resolve your issue with low volume. 1. Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On. 2. Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3. Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode. Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. Finally, please ensure your Firmware is up to date. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Great TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the TV was bought because previous TV stoped turning, no displays when turned on. So bought this tv which was a model newer. Overall satisfied, only downfall was the previous model offered more hdmi ports.
SO CLEAR
first off, i love this tv. worth every penny! ive had it for about 2 weeks now and heres what i have to say tv quality is phenomenal and i couldnt see myself with anything less than 4k now. 65" is very big. when you're in the store comparing sizes, 65 doesn't look too bad, but once it's in your house thats another story. however, after a while i warmed up to the size. set up was pretty easy, just connect to wifi and create an account. it took about 30 minutes. the remote is confortable to use too lastly, the stand that it comes with is actually really sturdy! i was worried a tv so big on those tiny legs might fall over if someone were to bump into the table its on but i attempted shaking the table and bumping into it and the tv didn't budge.
Nice Picture, sound lags behind picture
so far okay. it is a nice picture but the sound does not match the picture. it lags not sure how to fix yet if possible. the app ( smart things?) we were supposed to use to mimic the remote control is awful. it is not user friendly. i've deleted it already. i found another one. the system on the tv to find your show isn't great either. once again not really easy to use. takes some practice. i guess i was used to roku.
I've purchased cheaper brand smart TVs like the Hisense Roku for example and it has all the apps available to download , I was surprised that Samsung doesn't have all apps , so therefore I had to spend extra money to purchase a firestick so that I can get the apps I need , other than that the tv is great I would recommend.
Bad Picture
samsung is the only brand of tv's i buy. i've never had a single complaint until now. my 8 year old plasma had a much better picture than this new 4k uhd? even after buying new 4k-8k hdmi cables, following picture quality “optimum” settings, and all the troubleshooting tips, the picture is too dark to watch. when you raise the brightness and contrast, it gets fuzzy? i'm frustrated and disappointed with everything about this tv. the remote design is horribe! i've never had a samsung tv dissapoint me. this particular 65” crystal 4k uhd hdr tv is junk! my old dlp tv had a picture better than this!i have come to expect much better quality from samsung. disapointment is an uderstatment with this product...
Brad: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your picture. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright you can try Dynamic Picture Mode, or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking. Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic Manually adjust the Brightness and other settings. Go to: Settings> Picture> Expert Settings You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. I hope this helps to improve your picture.
