This was less than half the price of bird food on the Big A. And the birds LOVE it. Feeder stays busy nonstop dawn to dark. Cardinals, blue jays at least 4 kinds of finches, a couple of fat doves, some thrushes, a host of sparrows and a few I cannot identify.

The birds in my yard prefer this over the other seed mix Sams carries, especially the Cardinals. Even the wild turkeys that come into the yard devour this mix. I've also started noticing doves, lots of blue jays, and even red-headed woodpeckers in the yard I didn't see before, so apparently they like it.

It has a lot of sunflower seeds, which many blends do not have. Instead, it is low on the other listed things on the bag. So far, the squirrels, cardinals, and doves love it, but not many other birds here. The milo as always is a waste here but would consider buying it again. Sunflower seeds are the big thing in my yard anyway.

Compared to the previous brand I purchased (which I don’t believe Sam’s Club carries anymore) the birds in my area really prefer this blend. I think it’s because there are just way more sunflower seeds in this blend and other tasty things. I have a rather short feeder that can fit six to eight birds on it, and I’ll have close to twelve birds on my balcony at times seeking to enjoy some of the birdseed. While there is a mechanism on the bag for easy opening I just used scissors to cut an opening. I’m sure all birdseed bags are built similarly, but nonetheless I’d note that this bag is fairly easy to manipulate and pour, at least it was for me based on how I made an opening in the bag. The blend attracted a great deal of smaller finches, as well as a handful of cardinals and the occasional blue jay.

I don't know why but none of the birds in my yard like this bird seed, including the sunflower seeds. the little round seeds in there, millet?, none of them touch those at all. I'm feeding it to the squirrels and throwing out the millet since the squirrels won't eat them either.

This is truly the best bang for your buck! This bird seed is made up of black oil sunflower seed first,millet, a few shelled peanuts and best of all no Milo at all. Often the first ingredient in many bird seeds is Milo and most of the birds don’t eat it, it’s a cheap filler. This is my go to birdseed. You can’t beat the price for 40lbs of bird seed.

I don't feed the birds in the summer months but I have to buy the bird food now for some strange reason Sams does not sell this in the winter thats when they need to eat plenty of bugs and seeds for them to eat in the summer But the birds do love this Supreme Blend

I used to buy all my bird seed from Wild Birds Unlimited. I used their Deluxe orange bag seed for generic everyday bird feed. I tried Sams' Supreme Blend seed about 3 years ago, and I rate Sam's Supreme to be at least as good as WBU Deluxe Blend seed. You get twice as much seed (40-lbs vs. 20-LBS). And it costs $5 to $7 less. And, you can have it delivered to your house/front door. I still like WBU for other bird things and certain other bird seeds.

I have occasionally purchased this in the last year. My 84 year old mother and I love watching the birds, squirrels and deer eating under the oak tree. It is so amazing to watch the different behaviors of the different species of birds and their feeding habits.

I’m a little disappointed with this bird food this time. I purchased a bag last year and it was full of peanuts, raisins and sunflower seeds. This time there are very little peanuts and raisins. There is tons of sunflower seeds. I believe want it believe I got a bad bag but you never know.
