I go through about 300 to 400 pounds/month keeping a feral lovebird colony going as well as poaching white-wing and mourning doves, tweety-birds and scavenging pigeons. The birds must love this mix as I have not received one complaint. My feeders have restricting grates to keep the larger birds at bay and my cost down, but they have time, number and determination or their side.

This is a great product with quality ingredients. The only problem was with the packaging. The box was ripped to shreds when it arrived. I am surprised it was still in the torn box. Thankfully the bag was sturdy and it did not rip so nothing was spilled.

I bought this bird food last year and again this spring, I like it a lot. First, it's a great deal, and it's 40 lbs that lasts for months. The seeds smell fresh, and the variety works well with my daily visitors. This year so far I've seen cardinals, finches, painted buntings, chickadees, titmice, blue jays and of course squirrels. The mix has a lot of sunflower seeds that most birds like. I will keep buying this food for years to come, can't beat that deal plus it's shipped right to my door.

This is my favorite birdseed mix. Very little milo which is a filler that you will find in lower quality birdseed. It contains millet for the little birds, a few peanuts and black oil sunflower seed. This mix attracts a wide variety of birds to my feeders.

I’ve purchased this mix a few times. The birds love it and nothing goes to waste. The mix is (according to the package): black oil sunflower, white millet, safflower, sunflower chips, peanuts, grain products, calcium carbonate and raisins. I fill the bird feeder each day and only see sunflower seed shells in the grass. The seed attracts many bird types, including cardinals, goldfinches, cowbirds, starlings, finches, sparrows and doves. The birds typically hang out on the fence and take turns at the bird feeder. The larger birds lounge under the feeder, eating what gets dropped.

The birds love it and nothing goes to waste! I can hardly keep the feeders filled out here. I have used this brand in South Carolina and a whole variety of birds loved it there. There is something for everyone - even the ground feeders! Great quality at a great price. Will continue to buy.

we have two feeders in front and two in back, plus a sock full of thistle seeds that the goldfinches like. The front feeders are outside our kitchen window, we get to see cardinals,blue jays, chickadees,wrens, downy woodpeckers, etc. This food is the best, a good price, and a very strong bag. I also have two of your feeders !!

This wild bird seed is very good quality. There is a good percentage of sunflower seed. Also, there is a lower percentage of less nutritious seed such as white millet compared to other brands I have seen (not counting the super-premium seed). I have used this seed for a few years now and the birds have no trouble eating it. I did not find it in the store when I visited so I ordered it online. The seed was available for pickup at the store within two days.

A little too heavy on the cheaper kind of milo, which everybody ignores so it just sits on the ground forever. But overall a good value because it is full of black oil sunflower seeds. I wish Sams would offer another brand of birdseed as well to mix it with, as they used to. Anyway, it’s been out of stock more often than not, and it could be about a dollar or two cheaper. But overall, I’m glad they carry it. Better than nothing.

Best premixed seed yet. I live in NC. Lots of birds here like black sunflower seed. Most premixed seed like the kinds at HD and Lowes have a low ratio of black sunflower seed. Not this one. This bad is packed with Black sunflower seed and is a great value. No more manually mixing seed for me. Im so glad i found this. And PS, its cheaper per pound than the home improvement stores pre mix seed.
