Members Mark bird seed is primarily sunflower seeds. We really wanted a better mix of bird seed, like Pennington. We saw it in Sam’s today when shopping for groceries, but it was not offered to online shoppers. We had to order online last week because of physical limitations my husband had after pacemaker surgery. We will feed the Members Mark but it is not our first choice.

These items weigh 40 lbs. each. They were dropped off at another address; while the homeowner was telling them that it was the wrong address. But the delivery driver just kept taking the boxes up to them. Mostly Sunflower seeds additional seed had to be purchased to mix in.

Lots of different birds visit my feeders ~ Cardinals, Blue Jays, Goldfinch, Chicadees, Flycatchers, Doves, not-so-welcome Blackbird, and even the non-winged variety Chipmunk! They all love this birdseed, and I have a hard time keeping the feeders filled.

Excellent mixture of bird seed, with the majority being sunflower, unlike another brand I bought from Sam's, which was mostly millet. I've noticed in the last few bags that there seems to be a small amount of chaff (pieces of twigs, etc.) but hopefully that's just a short-term problem. It's not enough to stop me buying this brand. Lately it's been in and out of stock, so I buy at least a couple of bags, when it's available.

I hate the raisins and so do the birds. The raisins clump together and clog up the holes in the bird feeder. When it's warm outside, they get gooey and it's difficult to remove them. The birds don't eat the raisins even when I put them separately on the feeder tray. When I fill the feeder, I have to pick out the raisins, and it's a hassle! Otherwise, it's a good birdseed without a lot of filler at a good price. However, I don't think I'll buy it again.

I don't know why but none of the birds in my yard like this bird seed, including the sunflower seeds. the little round seeds in there, millet?, none of them touch those at all. I'm feeding it to the squirrels and throwing out the millet since the squirrels won't eat them either.

this is great for the birds. there is alot of sunflower seeds tht is needed in cold weather. i prefer this to other choice. the other is heavier and cheaper- but this one is sthe best for the birds. it is getting too heavy for me to lift, so i was able to have it sent to the house. i have about 8 feeders in the yard and by the end of the day, most are empty. as the birds love it so much.

Caring for our bird visitors, I have tried different bird feeds. With this particular brand I can hardly keep up with refilling our feeder. They gather. Some land on the feeder, eat and shake seeds to the ground. There (and even our squirrels) systematically devour the feed. It is a delight to behold.

Good bird seed, but they just raised the price substantially. I may have to re-think feeding these backyard birds. If you are going to feed them this is the one to get. No filler and no mess overall. Also the bag opens very easily with a simple pull of the white paper tab. There should be a law against those maddening string only closures.

Birds seem to like it, normally I’d but 100% black oil sunflower seeds from local suppliers but the last time I got it the price jumped to $50 for a 50lb bag, when I saw this bird seed from Sam’s on sale I read the reviews and several reviews said there was 75% or more black oil sunflower seeds, like I said above I prefer all black oil seeds so I thought I’d give it a try. Once I received the seeds they indeed were mostly the black oil sunflower seed so I ordered another bag and here’s hoping the birds will be happy for a while.
