Been buying this bird seed for the past couple of years. Like the bag said no fillers. Then I just recently ordered the same product (different bag-probably different manufacture) opened the bag and noticed it was full of fillers (milling). Very disappointed

I've bought this for years with the old bag design and it was great. Then it went out of stock and finally came back with this new bag design. I don't know what changed, but I suspect the manufacturer and the seed source. All I know is that the Cardinals which are primarily a Sunflower Seed eater, won't have anything to do with this new seed mix. Before, the Cardinals were crazy about it. The smaller birds scoop out the Sunflower seeds to get them out of the way, for the smaller seeds. Not even the Squirrels touch the Sunflower seeds. I guess I'll start looking for another brand.

Our birds love this birdseed! I get beautiful Cardinals and other small pretty birds with it. My husband puts it in a feeder outside the window at his mother’s nursing home and the birds almost fight over it! My mother-in-law really enjoys watching all the birds come. My husband has to fill up feeder at least 2 times a week because they eat it all so fast:)

The birds absolutely LOVE this seed. I'll fill it the morning, by 2-3pm its totally gone. I usually buy 2 bags of this since it's such a great deal, since late Winter I actually am going through one bag a week. A mix of cardinals, sparrows, catbirds, morning doves and even massive blackbirds devour this up. Squirrels and chipmunks also love the seed that falls to the ground. Bit frustrating for the past year, my local Sams Club just a few miles from me stopped selling this seed for some unknown reason, I would have to drive 10 miles away to the next nearest one which always has stock - as well as the other locations further away in the Philly, South NJ area. I started having this shipped to me because of this.

We feed the birds and squirrels in our backyard. Both love this stuff. We also buy peanuts, which the blue jays and crows love to steal. In addition to the crows and blue jays, we have doves, mockingbirds, cardinals, wrens, sparrows ,finches, chickadees and woodpeckers. This seed is a great bargain and our cardinal and dove families have raised lots of little ones on this birdseed.I've never found anything in this birdseed other than the listed ingredients. I recommend it without reservation.

I've tried to go cheap, but you get what you pay for. I don't know how, but the birds but they do. We had a huge variety of birds come to my backyard feeder with this brand and I went through four bags of it this winter. They ate a 2 quart pitcher's worth almost every day. I tried the Pennington Wild Bird Feed with Cherry Flavor *(also sold at Sam's) and the birds disappeared almost entirely. This is the best bird seed I've found.

No, there aren’t many raisins or peanuts in this mix but the birds love it. Cardinals, sparrows, finches, woodpeckers, and we’ve seen 3 orioles in our yard checking it out this week so we quickly hung up the hummingbird/oriole feeder. Local birds are happy with it so we’ll keep buying it.

I bought the pennington brand to mix with this as I feed alot of birds and squirrels. To my great disappointment, I should not have done that. This bird seed is GREAT but I was just trying to stretch it. Now I bought 40 pounds of sunflower seed to throw in the mix. I will stick to this supreme blend from now on and nothing else!

I love this food and have been buying it for years! That said, the last bag I had delivered, had a lot of safflower seed. I mean A LOT. The peanuts have also changed to a much smaller version. Hopefully this is not going to be the "norm" going forward.

I found so many little sticks in this birdseed, I was appalled. I noticed it when I was dumping it into totes so no way for me to take it back. How disappointing. I think they are filling it with garbage to get to the weight. I bought food, not sticks!
