I have spent a lot more for only 20 lbs of premium seed at a popular franchise that specializes in birding products. This blend is comparable in attracting song birds. I had Rose-breasted Grosbeaks for the first time ever at my feeder. This seed has attracted nuthatches, cardinals, house finches and more. I am extremely happy with the variety of birds that this seed is attracting to my feeder and I would highly recommend. I am using this seed exclusively. Unless something changes, I'm sticking with this blend.

Been buying this bird seed for the past couple of years. Like the bag said no fillers. Then I just recently ordered the same product (different bag-probably different manufacture) opened the bag and noticed it was full of fillers (milling). Very disappointed

I found this bird seed a few years ago and decided to try it. I had new species of birds coming to the feeders within a week! Then, I couldn't find the food anywhere. Now, I can finally get it at the Hermantown Sam's Club and I am so excited. Now I even buy bags for other people that can't find it.

I knew when I got ordered this bird seed it was mainly small black oil seed with millet and a few peanuts...haven't seen much fruit though. Hey, it's bulk bird seed (not a bad thing) reasonably priced on sale, although I do toss in some extra goodies......feeders are busy in this never ending freezing winter so the misc. criiters are fine with it.

I have been buying this bird seed for years from Sam's Club & the birds love it. I made the mistake of trying to save $5 last month & I purchased the Pennington 50lb bag cherry flavored......what a mistake.....the birds will not touch that seed.....instead of saving $5, I wasted $15. I am a sold customer on Member's Mark Supreme Blend Wild Bird Seed!

The last 40lb bag from Sam's had a green, blue and white label and the birds loved it. I got this bag this time and I notice it is mostly sunflower seeds. Maybe this attracts a different bird but I used to have a constant flow of birds around my feeder, at all times of day. My office looks out at the feeder so I am regularly watching. Now, with this purple-label bag, I just don't get many birds. Sure, I get some, but it is significantly fewer than before.

I've tried to go cheap, but you get what you pay for. I don't know how, but the birds but they do. We had a huge variety of birds come to my backyard feeder with this brand and I went through four bags of it this winter. They ate a 2 quart pitcher's worth almost every day. I tried the Pennington Wild Bird Feed with Cherry Flavor *(also sold at Sam's) and the birds disappeared almost entirely. This is the best bird seed I've found.

seed sprouts if fall on the ground. you are much better buying non-sprouting seed elsewhere. my garden has several bird feeders and as this seed hits the ground it sprouts easily in my cypress mulch. I’ve laid weed cloth, sprinkled preen, and laid newspaper down under my mulch and the sprouting will not stop. if you want all kinds of plants to grow up then use and buy this seed. I’m not anymore. many other places have seed bags saying will not sprout.

About every other month I drive all the way across town just to buy this seed. The quality is amazing and well worth the price. Lots of sunflower seeds, peanuts and eveything else the birds love and no corn. We go through about 1 bag a month and get a wide variety of birds.

I bought the pennington brand to mix with this as I feed alot of birds and squirrels. To my great disappointment, I should not have done that. This bird seed is GREAT but I was just trying to stretch it. Now I bought 40 pounds of sunflower seed to throw in the mix. I will stick to this supreme blend from now on and nothing else!
