Great value

I was disappointed when Sam's discontinued the Morning Song 5 bag box -- for two reasons: 1) they didn't replace it with anything for a long time and 2) most of all, the five bag packaging made filling the feeders sooooooo mucccchhh more practical. The birds do really like the new Valley Splendor but it is extremely awkward to handle a 40 lb. bag- as well as store it w/o some type of infestation issue. I either have to lug the bag to each of my feeders and scoop it out OR collect my feeders at the bag and still scoop it out. With the Morning Song you take one bag, make the rounds with it and pour it in easily . . . . Other than practicality, this is good seed and it's attracting a very good variety of birds -- even woodpeckers!

For many years I've purchased Supreme Blend bird seed...it was the best...exceptional ...my recent purchase was not only inferior, it was garbage....the birds won't even eat it! Very little sunflower seeds and the rest appeared to be just empty shells of no seed at all! Very disappointed

I have bought from farm & garden stores & large nurseries. The birds in the area didn't like them as much as this food, it would sit in the feeders for a while. Yes, I agree there is quite a bit of tiny grey gravel in the mixture, in each bag. I use a plastic handled buckets to keep the extra bird seed in, and keep the lid tight.
