Birds live this feed!

Worst bird seed mixture ever! The birds on our property kicked most of it out onto the ground. They did not like the large black sunflower seeds and kicked them onto the ground, making a huge mound under the bird feeder. It was pitiful. Won't ever buy this junk again!

My birds are happy!

I found that this bird seed contained so much millet seed, which most birds don’t like. There was black oil sunflower and a few peanuts, but I considered this to be one of the worst mixtures. I purchased it because it received so many high ratings.

Just emptied our second 20lb bag of this seed. It has a nice mix of different seeds and peanut chunks, which attracts a variety of birds - at my house, the birds drain two feeders, ~2 pounds per day. There is a round beige colored seed, the size of a BB, that the birds don't care for. I would give this product a higher rating if it weren't for the amount of filler sand that comes with it. It is in sufficient volume that it is obviously filler and, quite annoyingly, the filler sand clogs the feeder trays such that I must clean them too frequently. If the filler sand were removed from the product, I would give it 5 stars.

Birds love it

I’ve tried many different birdseeds and this really draws in a lot of birds. They love it and I easily go through a 40 bag a week in the summer with just one feeder. But for the past several months it has been unavailable in any Sam’s club within 100 miles of me... so I have to order it on line and pay for shipping. I sure do wish they’d get it back in Pittsburgh stores again.

I was disappointed when Sam's discontinued the Morning Song 5 bag box -- for two reasons: 1) they didn't replace it with anything for a long time and 2) most of all, the five bag packaging made filling the feeders sooooooo mucccchhh more practical. The birds do really like the new Valley Splendor but it is extremely awkward to handle a 40 lb. bag- as well as store it w/o some type of infestation issue. I either have to lug the bag to each of my feeders and scoop it out OR collect my feeders at the bag and still scoop it out. With the Morning Song you take one bag, make the rounds with it and pour it in easily . . . . Other than practicality, this is good seed and it's attracting a very good variety of birds -- even woodpeckers!
