As a bird feeding Audobon member I joined Sam's Club solely to get their Member's Supreme Blend bird food. Other stores selling 40lb bags of bird seed lead off their ingrdient list with one of more of these 'filler' items you'll soon find littering the ground beneath your feeder: Milo; Wheat; Oats! Ehhh ... Member's Mark does not include these cheap and largely ignored seed additives to achieve their 40lb sale weight. Bird feed is expensive - give us bird lovers the bang we need for out bucks!. Sam's birdseed ingredients meet the threshold where quality seed matches the cost!

Worst bird seed mixture ever! The birds on our property kicked most of it out onto the ground. They did not like the large black sunflower seeds and kicked them onto the ground, making a huge mound under the bird feeder. It was pitiful. Won't ever buy this junk again!

Our resident and seasonal birds love this seed except for the raisins which they do not eat. They toss them out of the feeders. We have small dogs, one of which likes to eat the rejected raisins and that's a problem since they are toxic to dogs. The raisin loving dog began having seizures which persisted until we finally figured out what was causing the problem. Once we removed the raisins before putting the seed out, the birds did not have to toss them and our dog is safe!

I wanted to buy a larger bag of bird seed so I wouldn't have to go to the store often and this seed is nice and smells good. Unfortunately I have to fill the bird feeder almost every day since the birds flock to it and fight all day over it (usually 6-8 birds on the feeder and more in the bushes). Another draw back is that it draws mainly finches and a few cardinals. I don't see the titmouse, towhee, catbird, bunting, or chickadees that used to be there with the other seed brands because the finches are hogging the feeder all day long.

I have been buying TWO bags of this per month for 5+ years. It was AWESOME and had none of the cheap brown millet filler and other stuff cheap bird seed has. Last week I was nauseated to discover the latest bag is at least 10% CHEAP BROWN MILLET--you know, the stuff birds dont eat--and some of the higher quality nuts etc are GONE. This WAS THE BEST BIRD SEED OUT THERE--now its just a cheap pale imitation of what it used to be.

Bird and squirrel is always full of millet which never gets eaten. MICE LOVE MILLET. I never had a mouse problem before I got a squirrel and bird feeder. My solution now before the sun goes down I empty both feeders of the millet that is never eaten into a large jar so as to not feed mice. That jar is now full. I tried to get seagulls interested in eating this millet and even they won't touch it.
