Tastes good

Usually drink Admiral Nelson. A lot cheaper only wish it was in plastic instead of glass. Will keep buying when we get to Sams Club. Wish we lived closer!

I have purchased this three times in my past and people at our parties cannot believe that I get this level of quality spiced rum at Sam’s club. Will purchase more in the not too distant future.

I compare this to Captain Morgan. I think Captain may be just a hint better. but not enough to pass this one up. I would still grab this one because of the price difference.

I had a bottle of Brugal Rum on my shopping list. I couldn't find it in the usual place(s) in my local club. I asked a staff member in the department where it was, who responded that Sam's was no longer carrying Brugal, but a new Member's Mark Spiced Rum was now being offered instead, adding that it was priced lower than the Brugal. My experience is that Members Mark products are typically quite good and suitable replacements for similar brand name products, so, I bought a bottle of this MM spiced rum. What a disappointment! Yes, it was priced a few dollars less than the Brugal, but those fewer dollars were wasted, since, unfortunately, this was not at all near the taste and quality of the Brugal Rum. I myself will not be drinking it and would certainly not serve it to guests! It isn't even a good version of a spiced rum! If Sam's continues to offer this, I will not buy it. I hope the buyers will bring back the Brugal to the in-store offerings. I'd rather pay more and get a good product.

We bought this for a party hoping that it would be OK, but we pleasantly surprised by how many people wanted to know what rum we were using for their drinks. Several stated that they liked it better than Captain Morgan, and at almost half the price of Captain Morgan, it is an incredible value.
