Love these TVs

We love these TVs. They are slim and light and have a good picture. The built in roku is great, since we only use an antenna and web-based subscription services. We have had the 55" for a few years and just got the 65" to mount above our fireplace. Highly recommend- especially for cord cutters! Can't beat the price!

Solid 4K TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last year. Love it, although the HDR can make certain titles a bit dark. Digital 4K titles look amazing.

Exceeded expectations

Great picture and functionality. The smartest tv set I have to date, and I own way more expensive televisions. I love the cable guide feature for antenna based television, it's incredible, also the ability to pause live antenna TV. This is so cool.

Two thumbs way up!

Just got this TV to replace a 55 in 1080p. The picture in 4k is phenomenal, the menu system is perfect and the remote is simple easy to use! I am so glad I saved the money and bought this TV!

Flaw in design. LED backlight failure after 2 year

Backlight failure is a common problem. The LED backlights have a faliure mode where if one fails in the array, the tv will shut off all LEDs. My tv lasted only two years before i had to replace it.

Cheap, Cheap, Cheap, Cheapest of CHEAP!

You get what you pay for. I had my TV placed on the tv stand and bumped a candle holder against the screen while cleaning. I now need a new television because this one tap cause a crack!!!! I own a Visio and Sanyo which has been bumped into much harder than the TCL.....customer service offer NO accommodation for this incident. Highly irritated. PLEASE purchase other brands than this one.

Very Disappointed

Picture shows good but lacks functionality other smart TVs have. I've purchased other smart TVs for my children and thought I was just purchasing another larger more current smart TV for my room. "I didn't know all smart TVs were not created equally." While my child can browse the internet for live steaming, etc on their cheaper smart TV. This more expensive TCL smart TV does not have this capability and many other capabilities. I am very disappointed and wish I had done more research. This is known for Roku technically, but I didn't know this. Completely defeated the purpose of upgrading my TV. Also, the remote is very small and has no numbers, a bit weird.

However, there are thousands of streaming channels and over 500,000 different movies and TV episodes available through the Roku streaming system. Additionally, you can screen mirror compatible Android and Windows phones to the TV. This way you can search on your phone, but view on the TV. Additionally, you can use the search feature on the TV to search for content and the TV will tell you where you can stream it from. Distorted sound

About 9/2020 my TCL Roku TV has been distorted sounds. It started on the YouTube App, now with any apps and cable. I switch volume mode to off and back to layering and fix the problem. However, the problem is happening every 5 minutes. I saw several posts in rokutv community forum and many users have had the same issue for several months. I am wondering why they continue selling this product. It's a terrible crackling, sounds like an echo, and cuts in/out. My TV is updated with the last software. Please, help or I will return it.

Not Impressed

On the phone for over 2 hours going through a bunch of channels and dvd with the same results of TV is still blurry in background as gets closer gets better. I will be taking this TV back to the store..Definitely doesn't have the clarity I was expecting and the person via phone was not helpful and knew less then myself. So mad waiting 10+ years to buy new tv and spent hours setting up and rebooting. Not worth my time for sure...
