[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these outside for regular string Christmas lights and they held up all year until I removed them. I also use them to keep an extension cord tight up to the wall instead of nailing them into the wall. The tape is a little tough to remove and broke on a few occasions, but the clip didn't break. I have also have used them to hang decorations. It holds a bit better than the similarly sized clear hooks, but that may be because they are outdoor use instead of just indoor. Either way, I like using them indoors for decorating if I can.

I now go outside in the mornings to sit and drink my morning coffee at the table. It’s not uncommon to have the deer run through my yard and head over to my dads property and into the woods. I just recently thought about putting up some outdoor lights but didn’t t want to leave holes in the house. I purchased the command set made specifically for outdoor lights and they are holding up well and it was so easy to use them. No pounding holes with a bulky hammer. Once I get the lights up I will post a picture to this review page. Love Command products. As a renter I can’t do things other home owners can so Command really helps me out with my decorating needs!

I was looking forward to using these outside on my vinyl window sills, but could not get them to stick. I followed the directions exactly. Clean dry surface...applied correct side to vinyl and held firmly for 30 seconds. Also it was 42 degrees. All but 2 of the 10 I tried actually held. I'm waiting an hour to hang anything on them, but at this point I'm not getting my hopes up. Also is there a weight limit? I know they are made for lights, but like the other command products they are very versatile. Very surprised given the other rave reviews. Really hoping this was just a bad batch.

Tried both these and the 1.5lb command hooks, followed all directions carefully, and my lights were down in less than 48 hours with both. Broke my lights as well, so super disappointed after seeing all the good reviews :( Had to buy new lights and resort to screw-in hooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These smaller clips made it easy to hang on my porch since I have a iron railings that's pretty thin. The clear color is a great feature and makes the lights I hung look like they are just dangling from the rails without ugly colored holders. They withstood the weather, rain and sun on the porch. I can leave them up during seasonal changes without them looking tacky without lights and then hang decor as needed, like up coming next is St Patty's day and we hang glowing luck clover lights and then Easter with the Pastel Egg string lights.

I placed them 12 inches apart so there would be plenty of support for the heavy lights and cords. I had to trim them a little with wire cutters to get the thick cord in but they work It’s really good I love it

When i put them up to the window to put lights on they stayed there till i removed them. I think i will put them back up and buy some more for my other windows for the holidays. All i hafta do is replace the light set and no nails required!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought a new house wit new vinyl siding and roof. Was very hesitant to hang holiday lights from gutters, eves and roof. Used the clips which were very easy to apply and then remove despite bad weather ie snow, rain and cold. We saved the clips and will just buy replacement tape for next year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great light clips for my patio string lights. They are easy to install and don’t stick out at all. They don’t take away from the lighting. I plan on purchasing more at Christmas time for my outdoor lights. Great value for these as well!
