I had good luck with indoor clips last year and was excited to see an outdoor line, which I thought would allow me to put strings of mini-lights around my windows without using nails or otherwise causing damage. I followed the installation instructions carefully, but the adhesive does not stick to the aluminum cladding around the windows. Nearly all the clips popped off when I tried to install mini light strings. Temp at the time was around 45F. A waste of money.

Indoors or outdoors. You can have lights all year round. Get creative and hang lights for the fourth if you want to. These little holders are strong enough to hold any light you wish and they are nonjudgemental. So go ahead. Place those Christmas lights around the bar. Keep your lights up all year long. But use these to do it so you have super staying power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these clips as a free sample from 3m. They are great and very easy to use. The plastic is thick so it doesnt break easily. The hook can be a little stiff so larger cords can be a little tough to slide in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Command clear hooks do not disappoint. Easy to apply strips stick pretty good to outside my front door. Even the Florida heat, humidity and daily afternoon showers have not affected it. Great for outside decorations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light clips were perfect for keeping my deck lights up. I used the extra hooks on a wall to hand my jewelry up on. Small, clear and the perfect size to hang them on. I haven't tried this yet but want to put a couple of these in my car to hang a small plastic garbage bag in. I think it should work because these are for outdoor and should take the different temperatures.

We purchased these clips to use on our shed last year for the Christmas lights so we didn't have to use a ladder for the gutters. Wasn't sure if they would stick and stay on while being exposed to our brutal, cold winters here in Iowa. Not only did they stay on for the holiday and the rest of the winter, but we had a Derecho - an inland hurricane of 140 MPH winds - trees, power lines, traffic signals, and more came down and were destroyed - but our clips are right where they were originally placed and can still hold lights! If that isn't holding power, I don't know what is!

I get to hang fall leaves without having to make holes in my dining living room area I'm very pleased with this hooks. Very esy to put on and take off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So it’s getting cooler outside and it’s my favorite time of the year. I now go outside in the mornings to sit and drink my morning coffee at the table. It’s not uncommon to have the deer run through my yard and head over to my dads property and into the woods. I just recently thought about putting up some outdoor lights but didn’t t want to leave holes in the house. I purchased the command set made specifically for outdoor lights and they are holding up well and it was so easy to use them. No pounding holes with a bulky hammer. Once I get the lights up I will post a picture to this review page. Love Command products. As a renter I can’t do things other home owners can so Command really helps me out with my decorating needs!

Within a month of using them we had hurricane forced winds tearing through the area. Everything in the yard was blown around except the lights. Thanks 3M for making yet another great product.
