Soooo dissssapointed: I bought the Command™ Outdoor Light Clips and installed them (one every 2.5 feet) on the horizontal surface (not vertical) of my wood gallery (inside the gallery) to fix light del christmas lights and after the 1st rain they all fell down!

We tried to place one hook, in fair temperature (not that it should matter as stated on the packaging) and it did not even remotely stay put on the smooth surface. Extremely disappointed as hanging the lights on our patio of the new house after just getting home from college was going to be a great family activity. Spent nearly $50 on these clips to end up only disappointed and feeling guilty I recommended these to my parents.

We weren't sure how we were going to hang our Christmas swags on the exterior windows. Thought we'd give them a try. Though they are for lights, each hook holds a swag with no issues. When the window is closed, you can't see the clip from the inside or outside of the house.

Used the clips which were very easy to apply and then remove despite bad weather ie snow, rain and cold. We saved the clips and will just buy replacement tape for next year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the 3M Command brand products. We needed a good way to hang our outdoor lights under the patio. So we got the Command light clips. The patio structure is made of steel so we cleaned each spot where we wanted a clip with alcohol as suggested in the instructions and they work just fantastic. They are clear so they are basically invisible. against the steel. We are very happy with their performance!

I have now had these clips outside my home in suburban Chicago for 2 years. We have used them twice for Halloween and now again for our Christmas Lights. We use the old fashion C7 bulbs around our windows and these hooks are perfect. They have been fine in the extremes of the crazy Chicago weather.

These outdoor light clips are amazing. It holds the light securely. They are easy to put on and use. They are also fast to remove if needed. I highly recommend it.
