Makes decorating a snap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] well command has done it again! They are making another product that I think is great! The holidays are coming up and I love to string lights but hanging them outside can be a pain and I don't want to add 1000 nails to the outside of house. These can be used outside! This will still be at -20 degrees through 125degrees so you don't have to worry about them being out in the elements. Installing them is easy just clean the area and place adhesive strip to the light clip then press firmly for 30 seconds let stand a hour and you are ready to go! You will place a clip every 2 ft . This comes with 16 clips and 20 adhesive strips. The clips are clear so they look invisible on whatever color string you have them on. I cant wait to decorate!

Stands up to the test!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I trust the command name I was a little leary if these would hold up to outside lights. Had a graduation party and hung lights outside. Unfortunately a little storm rolled in but those lights stayed! They were fantastic. As always easy to use and very sturdy. Definitely buying more at Christmas time for the front porch!

Great for plants too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This work wonderful with my indoor plants that hang. I like to use these to hold up the hanging vines. We also used them on our patio for some string lights and they’ve held up for quite some time now with no problem at all.

Damage free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received command damage free hanging hooks and had the perfect place to use them. Especially that the holiday weekend is coming up. I am using them on the deck to string up my lights to not make the night so dark. They didn't stick at first to the wood but after re-reading and following the directions they stuck.

Already falling off

Jung lights Sunday by Monday one or two fell. Over the night 2 more fell off and now that it is raining I am afraid what I will find when I get home but based on already falling off and other reviews, I have a feeling the lights will be on the ground :-( (yes we followed the instructions)

Cannot even stay up two days

I used these two days ago to hang up two strands of outdoor lights. These weren't even able to stay up for two days and fell down after a little rain. Now I have to deal with a bunch of broken glass on my patio. These are not worth it and no consumer should buy them.

Poor Performance

The clip part is awesome! The issue seems to be in the outdoor adhesive strip. I was hanging a lightweight string of patio lights, using clips as directed (every 2 feet) and in one day it was all shattered on the ground :( I re-used the clips on an indoor project with a normal command strip and its perfect. Issue seems to be the outdoor strip?? I could not return to the store as I used all the outdoor strips, but now my stash of regular command strips is depleted. Totally bummed!

Clips seem strong but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Command Outdoor Light Clips only hold light items for me. Although it says light in the title, I wanted to test a variety of items to see which works best on the clips. Too much weight will definitely cause the clips to fall off the surface. I also tried it on both smooth and rough surfaces; it worked on the smooth surface but not on the rough surface. This may be a problem since the majority of my outdoor area is not smooth, and thus, the clips can only be used in a small selection of places. The clips seem strong, and the strips are easy to apply and remove. However, the strips did not stick very well for me.

Great Strips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using command strips and I was happy to find this small size for hanging. I used these clips for hanging things around my balcony in a very hot, humid, and rainy climate and they are staying up nice and strong. Very happy with this product.

Sturdy & Well-Built!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently, we had an opportunity to try out the Command Outdoor Light Clips. They seem to be well-made and capable of supporting strings of electric lights, such as the accent light strings that we use. One of the best aspects of these is the fact that their removal leaves no damage to the mounting surface. Also, they are re-usable, since you can simply purchase refills of new adhesive strips. The 3M company provided me a free sample of this product to evaluate.
