[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the pack gives plenty of hooks and stickers. That’s pretty nice. However, even with following the instructions the wires did fall. I tested without the lightbulbs in after the recommended one hour wait after installation. The wall was smooth so it can’t be that. The sticky part of the tape isn’t that sticky when I touched it. So I assume that’s why it’s isn’t so intent to keep itself on the wall when the object you’re letting the hook grip to is on the heavy side. Instead of its intended use, I actually found another use for these things. I use them indoors to hang my mask, lanyards, small wires that I use sometimes for electronics like a power bank. They don’t leave any mark on the indoor wall, so I’m happy it has a use after all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got these clips to put on the border of our windows to hang lights on. We have started to pjt out our dall decor and thet work well. I like that they are clear so you can't see them and focus on the lights/decor. I will definitely be picking up more.

I've been trying to use these to hang string lights on my porch and they objectively do not work. Despite following the instructions to the letter, I haven't had a single one successfully stick. I've tried different surfaces (i.e. the vinyl siding, the wood rafters/ceiling). I've gone through half of the sticky strips that came in the package and don't have any hooks to show for it. Even though I leave them up for the recommended amount of time before trying to hang lights (and I've tried leaving them up for lots longer than the recommended time, too, just in case), they come off with the slightest pressure, like the pressure required to put the cord in the clip. I'm very frustrated at the waste of money here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girlfriend decided to redo the porch this summer and of course, that involved multiple strands of bright colors lights. These were the right tool for the job, giving her ability to hang lights where we hadn't had a way to. 5-10 minutes of my time, and she easily hung them right behind me. Had a few storms come through, high winds and heavy rain, and they're still in place. I think we'll leave them up and use them for Halloween and Christmas too.

I bought these for Christmas 2013 to hang my mini lights in the windows. They worked great! The problem came for Christmas 2014. I searched everywhere for replacement strips and couldn't find them. I called your company and the guy said that I didn't need the clear refill strips and that, because I was using them inside the windows, that I could use the white refills. I went to Home Depot and bought the white refills and they worked fine until it came time to remove them. They will not come off. If the refills that work are not very affordable or available, then why buy these clips. I will not recommend these to anyone.

The clip part is awesome! The issue seems to be in the outdoor adhesive strip. I was hanging a lightweight string of patio lights, using clips as directed (every 2 feet) and in one day it was all shattered on the ground :( I re-used the clips on an indoor project with a normal command strip and its perfect. Issue seems to be the outdoor strip?? I could not return to the store as I used all the outdoor strips, but now my stash of regular command strips is depleted. Totally bummed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This work wonderful with my indoor plants that hang. I like to use these to hold up the hanging vines. We also used them on our patio for some string lights and they’ve held up for quite some time now with no problem at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clips work very well. The clips have a wide opening which can accommodate good sized wires like the thickness of an indoor extension cord. They adhere well. Removal is easy and did not damage the painted walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the directions and waited over an hour before hanging the lights with the clips. I tested them inside on my mantle and the lights are holding great. There was no damage to the surface. I think these are perfect for hanging different lights for year round use. The only drawback would be they are clear so you can see the adhesive backing and the tab to remove the clips. If you are hanging lights from the interior side of a porch, this would not be an issue.
