Hi bOb!

Bought this on a whim and due to the sale price, figuring it was worth a shot and very glad we did - to the point where we wish he had bought a second! Mapping feature is great, just takes a little finagling to get used to. Haven't tried the mop feature yet (need to work with the map and create boundaries for area rugs) to give that a go. Overall, it works great and has 2 vacuum speeds (energy saving and high - both of which pick up a great amount of debris and cat hair) and is relatively quiet considering what it is. I know that there are others out there with more/better features, but very happy with what this one has done with the short time we have owned it and would recommend.

Get yourself a Bob

After purchasing a very inexpensive vacuum that contained zero artifical intelligence (or basically no intelligence at all), i was reluctant to try bobsweep. I'm so happy that i bought this on sale at Sam's though! This guy is awesome-- very efficient (only uses about a third of his battery to vac our 850 sq ft of tile. My only disappointment is that there is a small circular cap on top that is not flush-- its about an inch above the top of the vac and it prohibits Bob from sweeping beneath one of my cabinets. Other than that, he hasn't gotten stuck yet anywhere like the "dumb vac", and seems to navigate all areas easily.

Strongly recommend!

So far I am loving my bob sweep. I haven’t used the mop feature but the vacuum feature works well. It got stuck quite a bit the first week but once it figured out the map it does much better now and my house is cleaner than ever. Strongly recommend!

Absolutely love this!

I have a large 2 story home with all hard floors and have been wanting one of these vacuums for years. My husband kept telling me “They don’t work”! So, a couple of months ago, Sam’s Club had this one on sale for $199. However, I had never heard of the brand Bob Sweep. But at this price what did I have to lose. The only regret is I wish I had bought an additional one for the second floor. I program BOB every other day for 5:00 AM and when I arise my tile floors are so much cleaner than before.

Bob is a great addition to the family!

This was purchased to replace another robot vac that died. After using this one for a couple of months, it does a much better job of cleaning than the old one did. We have 3 long-haired Chihuahuas, and this vac does a good job keeping up with the dog hair. It is quieter than our old unit. The mapping function works well so it knows where it has been and where it is not supposed to go.

Good product with a great product support team

I bought this product to be able to clean up the dog hair before I get home with the grand kids. It does a great job and was easy to set-up and use. When I had an issue with the LiDar sensor, I contacted the BoBSweep support team and they responded very quickly with troubleshooting and extra support to get BoB back up and running great. The Customer support team is amazing, which makes owning this product very worthwhile.

Clean floors Roller has bushes instead of rubber

Keeps floors clean from dog hair. BUT. The roller has brushes and the dog hair has to be cleaned after every use. The mop is worthless. Mops my rugs. Used once will not use again

Vacuum - ok. Mop - not so much

Ok as a vacuum - not so much as a mop. I have tried to train it to not mop my carpet by selecting areas on the map in the app, but it still tries to go on the carpeted areas. Not a huge deal for me because I feel like a traditional mop gets my floors cleaner, but it would of been a nice feature for a quick mop. As a vacuum it's pretty good. I like how long the arms are because it pulls dirt and dog hair from up against base boards, under appliances, ect. The downside is it isn't as "smart" as some other robo vacs I've owned. It gets stuck a lot and can't get itself out. The big circle (maybe the camera) sticks up so much that it gets stuck when it tries to clean under dressers, side tables, etc. Overall it does the job fairly well for the price. I got the item on clearance and it was so much cheaper than the competitors I thought I'd give it a try. I won't buy this brand again.

It's NOT pet friendly

This is my 1st robo vacuum. I knew there would be a learning curve but didn't expect this nightmare. The brush is always clogged up with hair. It's supposed to be for homes with pets. It would go 10 seconds & it'd stop & be clogged again. Edgar, one of the technicians, is like family now. In the meanwhile, I bought a Roborock. It has dual silicone brushes, can handle 10 times the hair with ease. Spend the money to get a better machine with silicone brushes.

Frustrating; won't connect to WiFi

This thing makes me so mad. I've been trying for 2 days to get it connected to Wi-Fi via the app. I didn't realize when I bought it that it's not compatible with 5 ghz internet. Unfortunately, Spectrum joins the 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz bands so I can't specify to the vacuum which it should join and just using the main one, the connection fails every time. It's like it's only seeing the 5 ghz band. The one work around I saw online was to move away from your router so the 5 ghz signal drops off. I took both my phone and vacuum outside my apartment. I verified in my phone settings that I was indeed switched to the 2.4 ghz band, but the connection still failed several times. The robot "speaks" and says "WiFi found..connecting" but then seconds later says "connection failed". I believe I saw that you can use the vacuum without the app, but the features available there make it worth spending several hundred dollars for it in my opinion. There's so many people that say they love this thing, so I submitted a ticket to their customer service and we'll see. But I'm about ready to just ship it back.
