Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you've found your new Ball Animal 3 to be disappointing, thus far in your use. Your machine features an Anti-tangle Motorbar™ cleaner head, with suction control. This slider allows you to adjust suction right at the head, to adjust suction for the flooring type you're cleaning. If you're still finding the machine hard to push, it can be caused by a compatibility issue with your flooring. We do always suggest checking with your flooring manufacturer to see what guidelines they may have in place with regard to suction or even using a spinning brush bar.
