This blood pressure monitor has been clinically validated for accuracy. Most often the arm cuff is not placed properly. There are other environmental factors that can also cause skewed results. Reads too high

This monitor averages about 155/80, at the doctor's office yesterday they measured 127/63. However, it does seem to be consistent, so it's useful to track overall trends in my blood pressure. It's just a little bit discouraging, since I'm being careful to exercise, lose weight, watching out for carbs and inflammatory foods. But then when I visit the doctor I realize all these changes are indeed helping. I just have to realize that this monitor reads high and I have to look at trends, not the specific numbers.

Hi Ben, Keep up the good work! You are right to track your blood pressure over time as it fluctuates throughout the day and with many factors from everyday life. You'll get the best snapshot of your results by looking at an average over 2 weeks. Remember to take measurements at the same time of day, under the same conditions. Here are some additional tips to follow as these too affect your blood pressure results: (1) Avoid eating, smoking or any form of exertion before you take your measurement.(2) Make sure your bladder is empty.(3) Ensure clothing does not interfere with the cuff.(4) Sit quietly for 5 minutes before you take your measurement.(5) Do not flex muscles or have unnecessary movements during your measurement.As always, if you want to troubleshoot anything together you can contact us at 1-866-289-6611, Mon-Fri, 8am - 8pm EST

Blood pressure not

This unit never really worked well from the start. Most recently it gave extremely high readings and it got so bad we took my wife to the doctor. There we compared our unit to the one in the doctor's office. It was way off. We now have a unit the is certified. Cannot recommend this unit.

unit doesn't work correctly

The unit doesn't work correctly and will not read blood pressure most of the time. I keep getting an error, and the display is difficult to read.

Product shows around 20 points higher on top number vs 2 other bp monitor and also manual cuff
