Purchased after two separate episodes of losing power for 3 days each. Have not had to use yet, but purchased based on research and reviews - and am confident it will do the job. Easy to assemble and ready to go!

I have been researching generators for over a year and now have decided due to an abundance of power outages at my home that this would be the time to get one. This WGen 9500c was the perfect fit for my needs as well as affordability. I added an Interlock kit to my main entrance panel and the outside plug as well. I am now confident that the next outage will not be so worrisome especially in wintertime. Everyone should consider an alternative power source for their home. Regards David Morris

Won’t run for more than 10 seconds. Service dept is giving me a stall -day 5 with no path forward.

Love this generator!!! So easy to start for me and my wife since we are both senior citizens with arthritis. We could not start our old generator anymore - it was just too much for us. Thank You Westinghouse!!!

I bought this generator due to a major storm knocking out the power. It's been 9 days and still no power. The generator is great! It's easy to set up and runs great! So happy with this purchase! I highly recommend!

If I could rate this generator with zero stars, I would. Bought it mainly for power outages so I was fortunate to not have any for a long period of time before I tried to use it. I didn’t put gas in it until I needed to use it and it wouldn’t start. When I contacted Westinghouse they sent me an email of something to do since it wouldn’t start. I felt like I shouldn’t have had to do anything since it was practically still new. Not being a mechanic I called a friend to help. We finally got it started but it still didn’t run as it should’ve. I really believe there is a defect that Westinghouse does not want to address. I had another friend take it and work on it and finally got it running. I would run it at least once a month for 20 minutes or so. Then I noticed a leak and I believe it is oil since that’s the only fluid that was required in the generator. I have not ran it since. Ultimately I’ve never got to use it during a power outage. I did purchase it on sale, but I wasted my money. Also unfortunately by the time I tried to use it the warranty was expired. I’ve invested in a Generac whole home generator and eventually get the Westinghouse repaired and give to my son. Very disappointed in this product.

Easy setup. Hookup was straight forward. Freight packaging was secure delivering peace of mind that our generator arrived in perfect condition. We tested power strength capabilities on all our desired home utilities. No issues. We are confident that when power goes out next time we will be comfortable and all our appliances will be protected.

Purchased mine 6-30-26 for hurricane season preparations and so far im happy with the initial start up and easy to use. Seems solid and easy to use and should stand to last a while.

Purchased generator to use with a bypass switch on home. Does a wonderful job, able to power multiple items during power outages. Able to run my well pump, two refrigerators, hot water heater and lights. Great value!

Excellent generator! This is the 2nd on of this model that I have purchased. First for my home a couple of years ago and now the 2nd for my summer place.
