I bought this generator on line 3 weeks ago. It just arrived and I was so impressed with the set up process I decided to write a review which I rarely do. The machine is obviously very well built and from reviews I read prior to purchasing, I expect to get years of good service from it. What impressed me so far was how customer friendly the set up process was. The instructions were well written and the illustrations were very helpful. The manufacturer has gone to great effort to make all aspects of setting up this machine as simple and straight forward as possible. I was literally able to set this up and get it started in less than an hour and actually enjoyed doing it.

This Generator has so many Great Features. I love the remote start! This makes it so easy for my Wife to start it. Once I put the oil & Gas in it started the first time in seconds. It will run one of my Air Conditioners. I also love the fact that it has a handle to pull it around with the nice big wheels. I am very pleased with my investment!

I bought this generator after loosing power for multiple days at my new house which has a well pump. I can live without many creature comforts but not having the ability to have running water was terrible. The past reviews of this generator was fantastic and so far, the reviews prove true.

Due to the Hurricane that recently impacted Houston, TX; getting a generator was a must. After doing some research, and actually seeing it in action this was top of the list. 9500 running will power all of the essential items in my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home.

Clear, easy to follow instructions for set up and initial start up. Generator started first time and ran smoothly. Everything looks good. The unit is easy to move, once wheels are installed. I expect good reliabilty, that is to be seen. I purchased this unit due to very good reviews and the Westinghouse reputation.

We just recieved our generator this morning with only a couple days waiting for delivery.....Un-boxing the unit was a breeze and everything is well marked ..Assembly was a snap....The key fob start was in a great place on the engine pull cord ...put oil and fuel in the unit and it started right up ....Cant wait for the next power outage because we have it covered ....the 50 amp rv outlet is a great added bonus...always had to run a 30 on our old generator....

Awesome generator, great features and like the electric/remote start. It cranks right up and so far has ran really well. When it arrived it was damaged and got a replacement without any hassle. Would definitely recommend this generator to anyone and already have to all my friends.

Had power outage due to a brush fire in the hills. PG&E performed an emergency shutdown and our neighborhood was out of power for 6 hours. Used this generator and it did its job for back up power. Connected via Transfer Switch. This was recommended by an electrician. Generator is loud, but it’s reliable, easy to start with button and easy to follow instructions. I’m happy with my purchase and glad I have this around. You just never know.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it was fast delivery. I unboxed it and put the wheels and legs on filled it with oil that came with it and used the funnel that came with it. Filled it with unleaded gas plugged in the wire to the battery set the choke put the on off switch in run pushed the start button and it fired right up. I had it going in less than 30 mins. . I ordered all the supply's to connect it to my house power for emergency back up power . I love the way it starts up so easy with electric start and the remote fob. Thanks Westinghouse for this great Generator.

We purchased this generator in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. We have a smaller generator that was able to provide lights and small appliances. We wanted something bigger that would run window a/c units as well. We had a generac 8500 that has never worked right since day 1. We purchased this one based on a friends recommendation the Westinghouse name.
