I bought this generator for backup power when the local power grid goes down, which it frequently does during bad weather. So glad I did! It basically powers our whole house! Everything from the well pump to the fridge, even the hot water heater! I love the 6.6 gallon tank, it means I can fill it before bed and sleep knowing it will still be running in the morning. The remote start is also nice in cold weather, I can start it from the window and it will be already warmed up and ready by the time I go out to hook it up. I would definitely recommend this generator.

Couldn’t be happier! Delivery was a day early. Set up was easy. Everything needed to get this beast running is included except, of course gasoline. Feet and wheels went on easily. Fluids are drained before shipping and pulling the handle upward and gently setting it on its side was smooth. Note – this is a heavy piece of equipment so be careful with it and yourself – feet, hands, etc. I put the gas in and followed the instructions for manual start from cold. It started on the second pull! The battery comes disconnected so there was enough life for push button start and remote start. Both worked as expected and without issue. I haven’t had to put it to operational use yet but I’m sure this monster will keep us powered when the need arises.

Received today, shipping was a week later than originally stated - no big deal. The unit was clean, appears well made, fitting wheels/footrests was super easy, and fired right up. It is soon to evaluate the serviceability. One complaint - As I rolled the unit into the open to start it one wheel bearing fell apart. I am sure that customer service will do the right thing...

I bought the generator due to some power outages and had a 50amp interlock switch installed to my main breaker in case of emergency. Just the other day we lost power again due to a downed electric pole and the generator was ready to go. Within a few minutes the generator was powering everything I needed including two refrigerators, a few lights, my network/internet equipment, and work computer. In these times of working from home, losing power can result in a loss of productivity but the WGEN9500 was a life saver and had me back up and running in no time at all. Thanks Westinghouse!

Don't lose power much anymore, but in today's social and weather climate, we feel like we should be prepared. Just took this out of the box and assembled. Maybe I will put a little gas in and run it for a bit on the weekend. Liked the reviews, just pray I don't need it.

I purchased this a little over a month ago. I was concerned when it showed up in a damaged box with oil all over the bottom of it. However, after opening the box I was relived that the unit itself was undamaged and I have no clue where the oil came from. Easy, minor assembly and the unit started and ran perfectly. I have only put approximately 25 hours on the unit, but so far it has been excellent.

I bought the I bought the WGen9500c last week. I did the 5-hour break-in run at a constant 2200 watts. I had a circular saw plugged-in and intermittently pulled the trigger for a few seconds every 15 or 20 minutes. Connected my 2000 sq ft house after the break-in period, it ran the whole house with no problems. I'm in Orlando, FL getting ready for hurricane season.

The generator came delivered with very little work to assemble the battery cable and wheels, then add the engine oil before filling with gas and firing right up. This has plenty of power for our transfer switch to power our home when the power goes out. The electric start with auto-choke and key fob start are just an added bonus!

Just purchased this generator. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to see that this generator was somewhat small and lightweight being a 9500 running watt. I assembled the generator and added oil. Fired right up with the remote start. This will be great for my fiancé who would not be able to start the generator otherwise. It also has so automatic choke; so no need to worry about that. I would say this generator is about as close as you can get to a whole house unit and still has the option of being portable. Highly recommend. I am also an E-2 electrician. Side note...ran my dryer no problem through my 30amp transfer switch. Just wouldn't recommend running anything along side it.

I bought this 2 months ago for the upcoming hurricane season. Delivery was on time and excellent service. The guys even helped me load the box onto a dolly. Set up easy enough for someone with no experience in generators. I did hire electricians to add an RV receptacle and run through main breacker panel. Start up was simple with push button (which is the only way I've tried so far) but love that there is a remote for lazy days and manual pull/choke if other options fail. Wow is all I can say to the power this thing can handle!!!! I hope we don't need to use it, but confident it will do the job if it is needed. Highly recommend for quality and price point!
