I replaced my old generator with the WGen9500 with is a significant step from the prior generator with 5500 running watts. My primary purpose is to provide power to out rural homes but also to bring power to our 260 acre cattle farm. It's been in operation for alittle over 20 hours and performed to my expectations. It is far less noisy than my previous but is still don't park it next to the bedroom window. Start is great....simply push the start button....or the remote or if you really want to you can pull a pulley. I put the generator on a trailer to pull to a remote sites where it easily handled power demand from my equipment. The generator runs smoothly with little vibration and remained in place....and has plenty of plugs to support a work site. It is well designed, easy to service and use.

I just purchased this generator and i cant say enough about how pleased i am with this purchase. It was delivered with everything it was supposed to have. I was able to put the tires and front legs on with ease and in less than an hour. I filled it with oil and gas and hit the start button and it started right up.

I recently purchased this generator and it was very easy to assemble. All the tools needed are included. It took 5 minutes. I tested it out and the remote start made it a breeze to start. It has the power to run my house during a power outage. The gas tank provides 12 hours of service so it will run all night. We lose power pretty regularly and this is a much lower cost option vs a backup generator

My wife and I have talked about getting a generator for a long time, being that we live on the East coast, so we decided to purchase now or never. I spoke with several folks about portable generators and it came down to price and quality, which left me to choose between Westinghouse and a near competitor, as both had excellent reviews... although I do like reading negative feedback, I prefer constructive criticism over do not buy this product because that’s a fatalistic mentality... likely it’s the user not the product, which is what I find more often is the case, as a maintainer. I have not started the generator as I have been busy but I plan to start it up tonight. I assembled the generator last night but did not hook up the battery, as I wanted to wait until I was ready to start it, which requires connecting and a charge first. Nevertheless, I am excited to see what this generator is capable of. I will add a video when I start it up tonight (if possible).

I purchased this generator in advance of hurricane season. I read all of the reviews on multiple platforms and chose this particular make and model to help us make it through any unforeseen power outages during the hurricane season along the gulf coast/Houston. When delivered, the assembly was very easy. The unit started up on the first push of the remote start. I am now ready for those problematic power outages. I will eventually have a certified electrician wire a transfer switch to my home breaker box. I have a smaller generator that I have used over the many years of named storms that have impacted Houston, but it just did not have enough juice to run many items during the power outages. Now with this beast and the smaller/older unit, I should be just fine. Highly recommend WGen9500.

I bought the 9500w generator and I’m not disappointed. Very easy to install the wheels and the handle is preinstalled. Added the oil which is included and after filling with gas, and connecting the battery, it fired right up with the push button ignition. Pairing of the key mod was explained in the directions and was fairly easy. Feels awesome knowing we’ll be with power and not have to go stand in line for ice with most of the other unfortunate ones when it’s lights out. Thank you Westinghouse for such a great pruduct. I recently bought the Westinghouse Portable Generator, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a well-built machine. Ease of Use: Starting the generator is a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design. The controls are straightforward, and the digital display is easy to read, showing all the necessary information like fuel level and power output. This makes it simple to monitor and operate, even for someone who isn’t particularly tech-savvy. Portability: Despite its power, the generator is surprisingly portable. It’s equipped with sturdy wheels and a comfortable handle, making it easy to move around when needed. Performance: This generator delivers ample power for my needs, powering the entire house during an outage. It runs smoothly without any noticeable fluctuations, which gives me confidence in its ability to handle a variety of tasks. It would have been nice if a cover is bundled with the product.

I was looking for a generator with all the features and found exactly what I was looking for with the Westinghouse WGen9500c. I love the build quality and many positive reviews that finally convinced me to go with Westinghouse for my whole home emergency backup system.

This is my lifeline. Just purchased this last month and just went through Hurricane Debby here in the Florida keys. I felt safer knowing a had a reliable source to keep critical equipment working inside my home should the power go out following such a natural disaster. Thank you Westinghouse!

I bought this in anticipation of needing it for a storm power outage. Haven’t had the chance to use it like that yet. I have an all electric house so when we’re out, we are out! This isn’t big enough to run everything but will run enough to keep us going until power is restored. I had ordered this online and had it dropped at the store where I picked it up. It weighs close to 300 lbs so it was a beast to get from the van to the ground. I wound up cutting the box off of it and put the wheels and feet on it which was very easy. With the wheels, my 11 year old can move it around no problem in spite of its weight. Added the oil, gas, and installed the battery and it fired right up. It has 3 ways to start and all 3 worked right away. I am not looking forward to the power outage but if it happens, I feel prepared.
