I cold smoke it for appetizers and it works very well because all the skin is removed. It is also very fresh which really counts when the only recipe you use is salmon and smoke.

It's the best and most of the time it is in stock. We smoke the salmon many times for hot dinners and cold smoke salmon for on the go snacks - love it.

It's great. My wife is an Alaskan Native and we used to fish for salmon when we lived in Alaska. Needless to say, she loves Salmon. Sams is the only place around here that I know we can buy salmon filets.

The Ad said sashimi quality - That it certainly is - . We had 3 sashimi/sushi meals and felt it was every bit restaurant quality. Probably the best salmon we've ever bought - anywhere. Will buy again if in stock.

It could have been better but the cook messed up. I will try again. It was nothing wrong with the fish. I'm currently trying to figure out my new smoker. I ended up using the salmon in a dip and it was great even though I smoked it a bit too long.

The old salmon Sam's carried tasted very good. Really stopped buying because of it being farm raised. Thought I would try the new version, I know farm raised as well but this tasted and smelled fishy. Will not but again.

We marinate it in teriyaki sauce and bake it. It tastes great. I do have to admit, though, that after reading some articles about farm raised fish, it makes me worry about the quality.

I think the price is completely reasonable for such a great quality cut of fish. We had it for our “Non-Traditional” Thanksgiving dinner and it was a huge hit with my family members!

I buy this item a least 2-3 times per week but lately is been coming with very bad. Frozen and breakable. When I try to cut, grilled or stuffed the salmon breaks all apart.

Yes!!! I always buy my fresh salmon and shrimp from Sams. It’s is always fresh and delicious. I’ve purchased several pounds of salmon and shrimp from Sams this year.
