Use multiple days before the "use by" date

I bought these to try making salmon sushi muffins and thought I'd be good 2 days before the use-by date. I was wrong. It was very mushy and had a strong fishy odor. Hard to even scrub off my hands. Even grabbing something from the freezer section would have been better.

MAYBE USE 3-4 DAYS BEFORE THE SELL BY DATE?

If you buy this, use it 3-4 days before the date on the label. Our package’s sell by date was March 30th. We opened it on March 28th. The smell was strong and the salmon was soft/mushy. Maybe, if you use it much earlier it won’t be that bad? Will not buy this again.

Sashimi & Sushi - High Quality and Great Taste

My wife and I made sashimi and sushi with the best parts of the salmon in the package. The rest will cook on the stove. Tastes as good raw as my neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Now I know their secret. They get there’s from Sam’s too. It’s high quality Sashimi grade. I bought Saturday and had sashimi Monday and Tuesday. I wouldn’t recommend going longer than that to avoid food born illness with eating raw fish.

Should keep it frozen and sell it frozen

Sam's Club should keep the Sashimi-Grade salmon frozen and sell it frozen. I believe it will be fresher, when the customer is ready to consume it. Sometimes the Sashimi grade salmon from Sam's Club smell really fishy once I open the package / the stench is pretty strong and disgusting, meaning it has started to deteriorate, so I just end up baking the whole thing. I always look for expiration dates 5 or more days from the day of purchase. Sometimes, the Sashimi grade salmon has no smell at all, which means it is still fresh and good to eat raw.

Horrible

Purchased this product and noticed slight odor in my car, got it home and opened it and it was horrible. Took it back!

Really good!

Cut it into meal sizes and individually bagged. Had the first last night (cooked in the air fryer with Cajun spice) and it was awesome!

Terrible packaging good fish

Fish package was not sealed on 1 end completely and the fish slid out and down onto my knee on my jeans.
