We really enjoyed this product. We found it tasted great and was very high quality--tastes rich in that farmed salmon way. The shrink style packaging is very well done and appears to keep the salmon fresher, longer. We found this product superior to that which could be purchased in the competing warehouse club. We had some slight concern about freshness as we obtained via club pickup. But all was well and our piece had a best by date many days in the future. We prepped with a soy honey BBQ glaze. We baked about 1/3 of the side of salmon in the oven or toaster oven @ 400 degrees for 5 minutes, then turned on the broiler for another 5-6 minutes to caramelize the glaze and finish the cooking.

So the new packaging, portions, and price, are about ridiculous compared to the old, full size, uncut fillet. Everyone I know and seen at the store was furious over this on top of the recent reviews. While we obviously enjoy the salmon and its quality, this new step was in the wrong direction. The first come people are getting the thick cut centers while us daily working folk who come later end up with tail ends and bits. Please go back. We want our 'reel big fish'!

The salmon looked great and fresh in the store. It cooked up beautifully on the grill. BUT it had no taste. I think it was possible for salmon to be bland, but I was proven wrong. I don't expect the same flavor from farmed salmon as wild caught, but I do expect some flavor. This product is fine if you're just looking for a protein to put on a salad, but I would not recommend it if you are expecting it to taste like something beyond what you put on it.

Had to return the salmon multiple times as it went bad within a day of purchase. I made sure its temperature controlled through out. But for some reason, the fish smelled foul. Visible discoloration (orangeish to greyish)And it was on sale. Hard part is to travel back to club to process the return. Wish quality items are on sale

The salmon was mushy & smelled fishy. It was clearly old.

Good freshness; and good juiciness when properly cooked. I prefer pan seared.

Always fresh tasting these past months. Buy at least one pack a week.

this is the best salmon as it has the skin removed. just all good eating!!!

Great salmon and love that it’s skinless
