Flavor was great and all the teachers loved it. The cake was moist. The only thing that could be better is the crumble on top was to thick and when cut it just broke off thr slice.

PLEASE bring back the NY Style Crumb Cake! This pumpkin-flavored thing is bigger and heavier, but it's nowhere near as delicious as the NY Style was. The amount of pumpkin-flavored foods and snacks is really ridiculous and out of control. We don't need everything to taste like pumpkin. Who is buying all this stuff?

I received a reimbursement for this product to leave an honest review. The first piece I had I didn't love it. This isn't for thanksgiving or to fill that pumpkin spice craving. It came in a pie tin and I think somewhere that made me think pumpkin pie so when it was really and truly a pumpkin inspired crumb cake my mouth and mind were confused. However, the crumb has a hint of apple and the cake is very slightly pumpkin and pairs wonderfully with coffee for a special treat that would suit a fall brunch beautifully.

This Pumpkin Crumb Cake was purchased 9/24/2024 and shared at a potluck that evening where everyone {who likes pumpkin) raved about how very tasty the cake was. The cake did live up to its name and was rather crumbly but still served very well in slices.

The streusel topping was very hard, difficult to cut into and almost impossible to bite into. Perhaps something happened to it during transport or display. Apart from that, the flavor of the cake was excellent with a subtle pumpkin flavor and spices appropriate for this style of crumb cake.

With the fall just beginning I was excited to try my first taste of pumpkin for the season. The cake sliced easily enough but the crumb topping did not. It was hard at the edges and fell apart when trying to remove a piece. The cake was very tasty and had the right amount of spice but was dry. The topping was not good. To start, I have always used Members Mark desserts for any celebrations we have, and was really excited to try this Pumpkin Crumb Cake! Unfortunately, it was not at all what I expected. The presentation was very inviting, however the flavor was extremely lacking. I think they forgot to put in the aromatic spices, because there was no flavor at all. The buttery crumb topping was hard, but it did have a sifting of powdered sugar. It was very dense, and was not moist at all. I did check the processed date and best if used by date, and they were both fine. Extremely disappointing, and not up to Members Mark standards that I am used to.

It's a little sweet for me personally, but I think most people would enjoy it. The crumb topping is plentiful, cake is soft and moist. Perfect with a cup of coffee. I took to the office of 30 and it was gone by the end of the day.

I was SO excited to find this in the store! Not so much though when I tried it later. There is way too much topping. The topping and cake were the same depth! This topping is VERY DRY, and so just trying to get it out of the pan is a joke. The topping all falls off. Also just breaking off a bite made the topping fall all over the plate. The cake below seemed gooey, but it could just be the sharp contrast of the dry topping? The taste was good, but I wouldn't buy this again. Also, why in the world is this in a pie pan? Strange! Just cut that topping by 75%, and bulk up the cake by 50%, and it should be good.
