Just bought my second set! I sold my last car that had Defenders with lots of mileage on them, but they looked like they only half worn! After my first set, I knew I would be buying them again for my current car. Michelin's are a little more money than some, but you get that money investment back since they last a long time! With the high mileage I do, these are a testament to how well they do. They handle nice and are quiet.

got these for my Camry and it totally transformed the car made the cabin a whole lot quieter. consumer reports thinks highly of these tires so right there is the reason to get them. Michelin is a good tire i had energy saver a s tires there good but not as quiet and dont have the 80-90 thousand mile tread life.

I purchased 4 Michelin Defender tires in December of 2017. Was advised yesterday by my dealership after having an oil change not to rotate the tires. The tires on the back are at 3/32 and the front 4/32. Since my Civic is a front wheel drive automobile, having the better of the tires on the front will help with the upcoming winter weather. Extremely disappointed! I really thought I would get 3/4 yrs out of Michelin. Two years is just not acceptable. Going to Sam's Club tomorrow for what is to be a tire rotation but will hopefully be the installation of new tires. Going to ask about Goodyear, especially after reading Michelin reviews!

I have also had Michelin X-ICE tires and based on their performance and ratings of Defender T + H, I wanted to try this tire. I have had them just over a month but I am happy with their performance (quiet, nice ride). I am expecting they will be the best of four types of all season tires I have used in the last 12 years.

Had these tires for 10 months and they cannot hold the road at highway speeds. This is very noticeable on curves when driving over 80 km/h and also when braking at high speeds! There could be technical or design reasons but I think this is a lower quality tire than the previous two sets of Michelin tires I used. I ended up with the Defender T+H because the Michelin Pilot MXM4 was retired and the Defender supposedly replaced it. Sadly, it didn't measure up.

I use Michelin's on my SUV that I pull a vendor trailer with and they never let me down in over 8 years. So, when it was time for my family car to get new tires I got Defenders. These were highly rated and my Tire and Repair shop recommended them so I know I have the best I can get and feel safe on the road.

No question about the quality of the tire, but the 80K rating (something which was admittedly a key factor in my decision to buy) meant THE hardest tread compound of any tire I've ever purchased. The result was THE noisiest, roughest ride on a car (2012 Outback) which wasn't the smoothest or quietest riding to begin with. But for those whom maximum mileage is your #1 goal beyond all else, then this should be among your first choices.

2006 Stock Mustang 215/65/16 BFG's to 235/60/16 Mich Defender T+H KYB Stock strut shocks. Fit great, full travel no rubs. Look and feel superior. Recommended as replacement for stock BFG traction T/A Radials. Quiet Sweet Cadillac ride with grip handling and response. Would recommend as an upgrade.

Replaced the original tires on my 2013 Impala LT with Defender T+Hs. The car rides quieter and smoother at all speeds. Great on wet roads for handling and shorter distances for braking. Being H rated you can feel the firmness in cornering. Confidence !! Excellent choice for all these reasons.

I just purchase these tires and will keep an update ongoing. So far, don't hear the noise as other owners mentioned. Feels like they are absorbing unmanaged roads better than the stock Firestones on 2019 Hybrid Camrys, which only get 25k - 30k miles.
