I ordered a plain white icing cake with white trim for a wedding shower. I had decorations for the cake that matched the theme. I ordered the top layer chocolate and the bottom layer white. I don't think I have received so many great reviews from guests about a cake in... forever. Everyone raved. Thank you Sam's for being a hit!

Please whatever you do go somewhere else ! I know some cakes come out good and some bad here but don’t take the chances it’s the most disappointing thing ever. I ordered for my wedding simple plain as can be cake just two layer white cake that’s all i asked for . It was a bit lopsided but the kicker was they left a FREAKING cardboard piece right in the smacking middle of the cake and didn’t cover it. They could have covered it so easily but they left it out and about. I was so upset that my husband and i had to do a secret cake cutting just cause of how embarrassed i was of everyone seeing that. Never ever ever will i order anything from this bakery again.

The cake was delicious, but it wasn't decorated the best. I have decorated cakes in the past and could have done a better job than this. It passed but the cake was not level, and the icing was not smooth. Because Sam's Club corporate removed options of special icing and decoration, we could not even get white roses on a white cake. They only offered bright red, blue, and yellow. Think circus colors. We could only get a dot or shell border. I was not offered other options in store when ordering, and later discovered some alternate designs that might have worked online. The staff was not helpful except for one lady who took the time to help us because all the options had changed from 1 month prior when we had picked out the options for the cake and cupcakes. Then we got to order and find they changed all the options and limited them to just a few. We had to look in the case to try to figure out what sprinkles and decorations on cakes or cupcakes were what. They no longer have many options of colored sprinkles or icing colors. It was pretty disapointing. They are doing the same thing as their competitor C...Co is too. They now have even less options. Despite not being able to get what we wanted, the prices for cakes and cupcakes are far less than what it would cost elsewhere.

It was decorated to our request and looked great! The frosting is just so sweet.
