I ordered this cake for my DIL's baby shower. They did a perfect job decorating it with roses and even more important, the cake tasted amazing! The top layer I did vanilla with the bottom layer chocolate. All the guests commented on how good it was; very moist and flavorful. Would recommend.

This cake was used for our good friends getting married and it had cracks on the sides. The cake was the wrong flavor it was pretty terrible and we had to buy icing and fix it. I wouldn't recommend them for a friend or family member for important cakes.

The cake was decent for the price but I didnt like the buttercream icing and whipped cream was not an option. We went with a black icing and it was hard to get off of the hards. **Just know, you will have very dark bowel movements for a day or two so don't be alarm!

I ordered a very simple cake since I will be adding purchased decorations to it. They still screwed it up. They put the colored shell trim in the wrong places. Then decided to add beaded trim in a different color for no reason. When I called to speak to the bakery department, there was no one to help me. Purchasing a cake from Sam’s is a crapshoot. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s not at all what you order. I will never purchase a cake from them again for a very special event.
