I have two of these large storage containers (130 gallon). They are about 8-10 years old. The older one holds pool chemicals and the arms and lifter arm had corroded due to the pool chemicals. I contacted the company in hope they still have replacement parts. Not only did they have the replacements but the sent them to me free of charge! I didn't ask for them for free and I did ask what the cost would be. Maybe it is included in their warranty but they certainly could have said no because of the reason they went bad. Both boxes exteriors still look great and this company, by standing behind their products, made them a great purchase.

Arrived yesterday and is perfect! Very roomy and holds 2 sets of golf clubs plus other stuff. We needed this for our balcony in downtown Chicago for extra storage. Was just a little tight to fit across the end where we wanted it and my husband had the BRILLIANT idea to make it a "closet" - SO great! See pictures.

This is exactly our third lifetime deck box so obviously we like its functionality very much. Holds and protects the outdoor furniture cushions we have. The only negative is the the assembly... its a beast to put together! Takes patience snd mental fortitude!

the hinges and gas shock cylinders were damaged by a severe wind gust blowing the lid open. The lady in customer service was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Walked me thru the repair procedure and then had the parts shipped free of charge. Just cannot beat that.

I luckily had all the tools needed to make this install less of a pain in the behind. I had a torque wrench with numerous sizes, an impact drill and a rubber mallet. Directions are not the best, and even with all the tools, install was roughly 45 minutes to an hour by myself for something that should have taken 15 minutes like the Rubbermaid version of this. However, I got this on sale for $90, so it is much cheaper than the Rubbermaid counterpart. Tough parts were shaving off parts of plastic to attach the base to the walls support tabs, forcing screws in straight, and figuring out orientation with not the easiest instructions.

I was so exited when I saw the quality. It was so heavy and appeared to be a great product. First out with the instructions and away we go. Problem 1 there were hard pieces of dark plastic blocking the holes where you slide the sides down in 3 different holes np. My husband took those off because I couldn’t get them off as they were well attached. Easy next step insert sides, side 1 piece of cake problem 2 side 2 would not go into insert. My question should the insert be bigger or panel insert smaller so we took apart panel 1 and tried it as we all ready knew it was the right size. Doesn’t fit! Now I have a 130 gallon storage box sitting in my living room waiting for a new panel ffs can no body do any thing right anymore. Then we proceed to put the screws in place so I can finish it by myself when the panel comes. No indent for screws so they tend to go crooked. There are only 2 indents and those went in fine the rest were stressful. I have bought many unassembled items including bbqs and have never came a crossed such poor workmanship for such an expensive item. Pay more get more is not at all the case with this. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars if for quality which I would say is a 5 star. Very disappointed!

It is really to get the two long font and back in parts the bottom base and you need two people to do this ... I found you need to have it on a level surface to get it to fit . We tried a little grease on the bottom clips and it went together finally.... I do like the box and we have two other made by this company and they work find ...The screws on the lid brackets are really short and you have to enlarge the holes in the plastic to get them in ....

The Lifetime 130 gallon outdoor storage unit is exactly as expected. Instructions weren’t too hard to follow. It took 2 people to build and is solid. We needed a place to store cushions, camping chairs and outdoor game sets. This storage unit is large enough to hold everything %26 protect it from the weather. The top is sturdy %26 large enough for 2 or 3 adults to sit on as extra seating. The sale price of $97 was a bonus.

I saw other reviews about issues with assembly so was prepared. Had to take a box knife and shave excess plastic off the edges of a few pieces in order to get them to fit. A couple of the holes didn't line up so had to drill those before I could insert the bolts. Once that was done, assembly was easy. Took about 90 minutes, would have been about 30-45 minutes to assemble if I hadn't had to make the modifications. Still a pretty good deal (price for this size deck box and quality of materials) so overall rating reflects that. If I could talk to manufacturer, I'd say "adjust your die/castings because they're off"!

I bought this 4 years ago and it continues to look and work nicely. We store pool chemicals in it and the chlorine fumes pretty much destroyed the metal hinges. Four years later, no problem - they sent a free pair f hinges out to replace the old ones. Looks as good as new inside and out.
