We were looking for a box to store deck cushions and " related stuff". After spending hours researching related products I ordered this box, Lifetime 130 gallon storage/deck box. I had looked at another brand in the store butnit just didn't feel sturdy. The box arrived via Fed Ex in great shape. Assembly was pretty easy, after watching the youtube tutorial a few times. My husband helped when a second set of hands and opinion was needed. The package was one screw short. I got online and emailed customer service. This was the most complicated step in the whole process for me. They required a copy of my receipt, model and product number. One of the numbers was not where the website assured me it was. Instead it was on a sticker inside the lid. Finally armed with all the necessary information they said an order was put in for One (1) missing screw. I was prepared to make a trip to town to buy said screw. My only real issue so far- I under estimated the size of the box we need. Probably should have built a pool house.

The box survived a tornado with minimal damage. The wind blew it across my yard into the woods. I had it latched closed and the metal latch broke through the plastic but I can fix that. The box was scratched in a few places but still together

Excellent product. Fairly easy to put together, but I did use a small drill bit for pilot holes for the screws. Has been through some pretty heavy rain storms and stayed dry inside. Very pleased with it!

My backyard is well organized after placing this storage box. I have placed all my landscaping tools in the box. It is lightweight and high quality plastic. Value for money and must have product for those who want their outside area clean and organized.

Needing to add storage for an expanding roof deck created during the pandemic to find some precious outdoor space in the city, we added a second one of these large storage containers after being happy with how well the first one performed after almost a year totally exposed to the elements from the broiling summer sun to the freezing, windy, snowy nights. It does the job and is easy to put together.

This box is HUGE! It’s sturdy and well made, went together easily, and holds SO much! It has truly impressed me, for sure. It’s exactly what we needed to store all our grilling and griddle accessories and all the backyard accessories. Neat, clean, and kept clean and dry. Didn’t know HOW badly we needed this! Very well worth the cost, for sure.

So far a great product! Much better than the other ones that you buy in the store. It will be put in full sun for 1/2 the day. Time will tell how long it will last. It is more air tight then the old one I have, so hopefully that will help to keep wasp and other bugs out of it

I found it difficult to attach the two long sides to the base when assembling it by myself. You will probably need two people to tackle this part. One person to set the tabs into the base and another to kick or push the side panel sideways in order to lock in the tabs in place. I managed to kick the side so hard when trying to lock the tabs that the edge of the panel deformed... and it still didn't lock properly. Finally got it though. The company should reengineer the way these parts fit together. I do like that overall fit and finish. Hope it lasts the 10-year warranty period in this south Florida heat.

I bought this box several years ago, and use it near my dock on saltwater canal. Not surprisingly the hinges and gas struts began to rust after 7 years or so. When I contacted CS I was presently surprised that they sent replacement hinges, struts and hardware at no cost - based on my representation it was about 7 years old. CS representative and was very courteous and and efficient.

I luckily had all the tools needed to make this install less of a pain in the behind. I had a torque wrench with numerous sizes, an impact drill and a rubber mallet. Directions are not the best, and even with all the tools, install was roughly 45 minutes to an hour by myself for something that should have taken 15 minutes like the Rubbermaid version of this. However, I got this on sale for $90, so it is much cheaper than the Rubbermaid counterpart. Tough parts were shaving off parts of plastic to attach the base to the walls support tabs, forcing screws in straight, and figuring out orientation with not the easiest instructions.
