Xbox looks great but paid $313 for just the Xbox didn't come with the cords to hook it up or a controller so I'm forced to drive to Walmart to spend more money when it should've came with these items... not to mention the package was delayed to 2 days later than what it was supposed to be

If you play a lot of games and care about 4K resolution then get the X. If you don't play a lot of games and only rotate between 2-4 games and dont care for 4K resolution then this bad boy is for you, the S still runs at 1440p so even without 4K the graphics and gameplay are really crisp. I was on PS4 last for last gen then I made the switch to Xbox for the New Gen, what really sold me on the Series S was the DESIGN the price tag was just the icing on the cake for me.

The games look and run great. The only thing I wish was that it would show you how to turn an game off without me having to look it up on Youtube. I had to do this because this is my first Xbox. Other then that I am having an great time with my Xbox Series S.

Giving this 2 stars for a reason because I opened up the box and it came with the wrong plug not for USA but it came with a plug for countries in Asia, I didn't get the 24 months for ultimate game pass, and The guild that it came with to help set up was in Spanish. The only thing I got that was right was the console and the HDMI cable. I have been with Xbox for some time now and its not their fault but the third party company that distribute its fault. This would be the first that a 3 party company have sent the wrong thing just trying to get money from you. So if I was you try to find a different distributor to buy from to get your Xbox Series S for if your in the USA you are more in likely going to get the worng thing. I now have to spend more money on getting the right plug so I can play on my new console. So I just want to Give y'all a heads up if you are going to buy from this third party company.

sorry for it being so long; recently, my 7-year-old Xbox was having problems playing fallout, which was understandable, and I just got the new box S to hopefully fix the problems of the game crashing once in a while, it did not. It has gotten so much worse, how is a brand new console with better specs going to perform worse than my 7-year-old console? every single time I load up fallout and get in combat, it freezes and stops working. And in watchdogs which I never had had a problem before it froze up on me as well! I was hoping it was because I was downloading some games while I was playing (which should still not be a problem in my opinion) but even after nothing should have stood in the way of me having a great experience with my brand new series S, it still crashes every single time, which is much more frequently than my original box one.

Load times for this are crazy fast. Ark used to take 5 minutes to load from start to spawn with the xbox one s. Now it is maybe 30 seconds. Graphics look much better even though i only have a 1080 tv. Very pleased with the product. NewEgg has a 5 terabyte usb drive for $98 that works great with the series s. Just keep the games labeled for series s or x on the system storage and keep the other older games not labeled for series s or x on the NewEgg usb storage device and it works great.

This is marketed as a lower cost alternative to the Xbox Series X. However, it is Not. First of all there is no 4k blu ray drive. That means all games must be purchased and downloaded from Microsoft. Second, it comes with only 512 GB of Storage. This isn't very much because today's games require lots of storage space. Also, if you purchase the 1 TB SSD Storage drive to equal the storage space of the Xbox series X; the Series S will cost about $20 more than the series X. Performance: The CPU and GPU are not the same. The Series S is slower and WILL NOT DISPLAY TRUE 4K! It will display a maximum of 1440p (which isn't 4k), And not all 4k TV's are able to display the 1440p resolution. In that case your TV will use 1080p.

This is a great option for anyone looking for a Game Pass box. My external HDD expands the storage for low-priority games, and relying on the Game Pass library makes not having a disc drive a non-issue. If you dont have a 4K TV, or are looking for 60FPS over resolution, and you already have a digital Xbox game library or stick to Game Pass, this is a great cheaper option for a next gen (current gen) console. My only long term concern is that developers stop emphasizing 60FPS on games in the future. I hope this continues to be an option, even if it means cutting to 1080p over 1440p.

Absolute best price around. Arrived quickly and on time. Very fast and great Xbox no need for the other one this one is All Digital. Love this works well and automatically turns on and we can play hbomax and all sorts of other things. Best purchase in a long time

A very great budget next-gen console that is good enough to play some next and current-gen on but if you're planning to play a lot of next-gen games, this one should last you to more games are released next year. It might even be good to hold you for a year. I think once more games come out next fall, you'll need to upgrade and maybe keep this one in the living room.
