When I purchased my Series S I was originally pretty hyped about getting a new console at retail price. However, I was a bit annoyed when I got home to find that it came with no power supply, controller, or HDMI. Thankfully I have the right type of cord laying around from an old PS2, so I was able to improvise, as well as having a controller from my old Xbox that was usable. Slightly disappointed, but it is what it is. At least it works.

I would rate this console a 5 star because its amazing for the price, the mobility I mean man you can fit this thing anywhere and bring it with you anywhere with the size the two cables the system and a controller you can slip it into your backpack or carry on added bonus is the fact that all your previous Xbox one accessories are compatible and every game from Xbox original to Xbox series X|S is playable right out the box and game pass is also a nice treat. Now what is my issue with not giving it a 5 star with all this praise my issue is it seems to bug out at times when switching between games with quick resume, Ive also had my 2k21 next gen freeze somethings when loading into certain the city things and missing textures/invisible players or objects which would require a hard reset by holding the power button down on the console. Now I would chalk up this issue to the game itself since I havent had issues with others but I have friends with series x and they do not experience the same issue with the game. I know it might be petty do not give a star over one game but like I said earlier quick resume is also a bit buggy right now and some other random hiccups but they will be ironed out.

This past year has brought many surprises and the sheer amount of fun I've had with the Series S has definitely been one of them. I abstained from owning an Xbox console last generation, having owned all iterations of the PS4. Unable to attain a PS5 during launch, I opted to give Xbox another go and was able to land a Series S. The first thing I noticed was how small the console is, even in comparison to the PS4 slim. Setup was easy enough, though setup requires the utilization of a mobile device and the Xbox app. Once everything was setup, the first thing I wanted to test was performance with Apex Legends. Apex Legends is a great cross generation test. Given its size, I wasn't sure it would handle the game as well as the PS4 Pro. I was wrong. Not only did the console keep pace with Frames Per Second (FPS) with the PS4 Pro, but it remained quiet and cool throughout my gaming sessions. Access to Gamepass Ultimate is HUGE. It's been a tremendous amount of fun to play games from the Xbox 360 generation again and have access to and play games from the previous Xbox generation. Having reached the end of Netflix and every other streaming service, this has been a breath of fresh air and an absolute blast. We tested out Gears of War 1 - 3, Forza Horizon 4, Doom Eternal and more. Having access to this service alone makes owning at least the Series S a must. Nextgen titles like Watchdogs Legion, Immortal Phoenix Rising,

I just received it today and when I downloaded Cold War, it wouldn't play. I googled how to fix it and a million other Series S users are having the same problem. The system is trash. Do not buy it. I don't usually play Xbox but I gave it a chance when I couldn't get a ps5. I regret buying this. I plan on returning it for a refund.

This was a birthday present for my fiancé and he yelled out of surprise and excitement and then he teared up quite a bit. The console came in excellent condition and we had it set up and going within minutes. It’s difficult to get any time on it myself because of how thoroughly he loves this console. Amazing purchase well worth the money. I would recommend buying new, the horror stories about buying used ones are awful and not worth the risk to save not much money. (We don’t have a ton of disposable income but I guarantee that it will be less expensive and time consuming to just buy new, Walmart had the best price at the time of my ordering). So very very satisfied!

Although I bought it at a higher value than normal retail. The console arrived in perfect condition. The box had no dents and was not opened. If you are looking for a quick way to get your hands on one of these consoles this is the right place to get one. It also arrived at the scheduled time. Overall had a great experience with the company.

I am shocked at the love and care that went into this console. I bought this by accident as I was trying to get a ps5. (Note that I am not a regular xbox player, and have been playing Playstation for the past 4 years.) I ordered both the ps5 and the Series S. The Ps5 is coming probably during Christmas, but the Series S came 4 days after purchasing it. When I got it, I booted the console up and set up the console using my old Xbox One account from 2013, and voila! The Next Generation in my hands. The first test to really try the Next Gen, was Cyberpunk. On Xbox One and ps4, Cyberpunk runs terribly always staying at under 20 fps. However, with the Next Gen upgrade. I am able to actually enjoy the game. Running at a smooth 60 fps too. Cyberpunk also features Quick Resume so I can load it up in the blink of an eye. Now, let's talk about the games that are Optimized for the Series S/X. Games like Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, CODBOCW, Rocket League and so many more, they all have unique changes and sometimes feel like completely different games. The 4k options you have on here is amazing. 120 fps feels like a dream come true and games load almost 10x faster than the original Xbox One. Even though the Series X is better specs wise. The Series S has a special place in my heart, right next to the Playstation 5. Don't listen to any fake reviews, and buy the console you want. But if you will like to settle on this console. Good choice.

I don't have a very fast network connection and the only way to get games is to download them into the box series S. It takes about a day for me to download and start playing something. I've also filled up the series s' storage. There is no disc drive or expandable harddrive making this unit hard to enjoy for me.

I love the Xbox . It doesn’t have a disk drive so ONLY digital downloads only. Download games pretty fast but didn’t received 24 months of Xbox game pass Ultimate. So I didn’t get any deal with the Xbox . “bought on Black Friday “ so that was upsetting . I wouldn’t pay anymore then 299$ for it .

So fast and small! I can turn it on and be back in game playing in 5 seconds! Game pass Ultimate is fantastic! So impressed with this little machine. Oddly enough since getting it I use it more than my PS5 and I'm normally a Sony fanboy but this is so small, quiet and powerful.
