Good solid unit - very well designed and built. Purchased as home power supply back up to run essentials in an emergency and also for camping and general use. Handles and wheels make moving it around on suitable surfaces easy. Main selling points for me were duel fuel capabilities as propane for me is easier to store and lasts practically indefinitely and also the fact that Westinghouse is an established and reputable company. I would recommend this generator.

I just purchased this generator and have not needed to use it yet, but would like to say that the unpacking and assembly went smoothly. I am female and 71 years old with very little prior knowledge concerning generators, but I was able to follow the instructions and complete the unpacking and assembly by myself. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the oil plug was not completely closed when shipped and a small amount leaked out onto the unit.

I bought this to be able to use camping and at my house during a power outage. It's nice to have the dual fuel option. It is a bit difficult to add oil but it came with a funnel that really helps. Having the wheel kit is nice since it is too heavy to carry more than a few feet.

Just received my generator, easy setup, wish the oil funnel was a little longer and wider top, but other than that easy setup and does not detract from the product at all as I already had better funnels to use. . Ran it for 1/2 hour on propane and then another 1/2 on gas, put on a load and no problems or issues at all. The remote start is a nice feature, the electronic start in general is great as well, and I did make it a point to try the manual pull start as well, which worked fine. other than monthly start up I hope to never use it for real but good to know I have a good product to rely on if needed

The remote start key is such a bonus. I am a single woman and was worried about operating the generator, but with the useful manual I found it understandable and easy to follow. It is easy to move around and all round well designed. I also like the fact that it can run on gasoline or propane.

Using the WGEN3600df as the sole source of electricity at my camp. Running on liquid propane. Easy to set up. Adding oil is a little tricky, especially when the generator is at ground level. Starting the generator is easier on propane than on gasoline.

The dual fuel feature of the generator is easy and seamless. The large, clearly marked transfer knob is easy to work and it doesn't skip a beat when tranferring, even under load. The generator comes with the exact amount of oil to add and a great oil spout. The propane hose is the perfect length and it is included along with the regulator.

I bought this in anticipation of the public safety power shut-offs in California this summer and fall. We had a couple of them and it has worked well so far. There is a design flaw in the placement of the bolt to drain the oil. The bolt is only a couple inches off the ground so that to change the oil I had to put it up on cinderblocks in order to get a pan underneath it. I had to watch a guy on YouTube to figure that out. Additionally, the oil drainage bolt has a metal brace just underneath so you cannot easily put a funnel directly under it and you're all but guaranteed to spill oil on the ground. Bad design. The manual also has outdated photographs in it so the instructions for hooking up the battery show a completely different configuration. Outdated photos and graphics appear pretty regularly creating unnecessary stress when trying to set it up the first time. One additional con is that the remote start only works with gas, but not with propane. You won't learn that until you read the manual. Other than those things, I've enjoyed the generator and it seems solidly made. If I had to do it all over again I would have bought one with more standard outlets rather than just two. I run extension cords and it is annoying see those other outlets sitting there unused and recognizing that I am not taking advantage of all the power that the generator has to offer. But that was my mistake.

Bought this after 5 days of no power due to storm. Considering I'm a incredibly bad mechanic 4 screws and two pins later she was "fully assembled". The remote start fob and included oil and assembly tools are great touchs. I give a 4 star because getting to the oil into the machine was difficult. If you have small hands getting the cap off is difficult because finding leverage to get to the part. Also the included funnel barely clears the body and gets to a 45% angle making filing again difficult. There is nothing I see that says the specific amount of oil needed for this device I just assumed they would not send me more than I need but put the whole bottle in and as I was fighting the cap back on the oil leaked onto my garage floor. Lastly it says it's "super quiet". While I've heard others I'm my neighbor with incredibly loud generators this is far from quiet. I'll see when I actually use it how bad it is inside my house but I did NOT want to be that guy who has a generator that sounds like a jet engine.
