I like that it comes in a small enough container that I can easily carry in a backpack/purse. It rolls on easy too but I would prefer a mess-free option but that is simply a personal choice.

It's fast acting menthol cold therapy relief really has been a godsend to help cool the pain in my aching joints and muscles. It's long lasting formula has a vanishing scent that's great for when you're on the go and don't want your pain relief to announce your arrival. I love the fact that it's paraben free.

I really like that it is a roll-on because of a few things. You can put it right on the trouble spot without having to rub it in. Your hands do not get the product on them. I love the classic green gel but sometimes I find it hard to apply it to certain areas or it slides out of my hand. But with this roll-on it makes applying quick and painless. This worked wonders on them, the roll on feature makes it extremely easy to apply by myself in a hard to reach area. Now, I have only used it on my arm so far, so that’s what my review is based off of. Obviously, if you use it on more sensitive skin, it’s going to feel a lot stronger. I like Biofreeze because it is nice and cooling, but it’s not so obnoxiously strong that it’s all I can think about when I put it on. I could feel the cooling effect for about ten to fifteen minutes. Do these products actually help alleviate sore muscles? I don’t know. But it feels good while it’s on!

We have tried many different products on the market, but he swears by biofreeze! The fact that it is a roller is nice! No more getting your hands messy! Also I like that it goes on green because I can see where exactly I applied it on his back. It's a nice feature to be honest otherwise I'd be rolling it blindly. I used it on my right shoulder the other day for pain and I must say the cooling menthol feeling was nice . I'd definitely recommend not only for the fact it works but also for the non messy application!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Biofreeze Pain Roll-On mostly to ease the muscle pain in my lower back when I couldn't plug in a heating pad to put on it. I like how the container is handheld and that the lid screws off easily (for someone with arthritis). Once applied to your skin, it rolls on smoothly. The liquid dried much quicker on my skin than I expected. Even though the scent of menthol was quite strong, I know that this is a good ingredient to have because it provides an instant cooling sensation. To my surprise, I noticed the smell vanish after a short time. Soon after application, I felt slight relief of my pain. There also was no messiness from the roll-on on my clothing. A great aspect of this roll-on's formula is that doesn't contain any NSAIDs, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, or Salicylate. Instead, it has aloe and Arnica Montana, which are both known to create soothing effects. Overall, this product is a smart choice for minor pain relief. I found that it works decently on certain areas of the body, such as the lower back or shoulder.
