I generally dislike getting stuff on my hands or fingers when I need to put on sunscreen, etc., so it's good to have an option that rolls on this way. I was primarily interested in trying this because my partner experiences a lot of chronic back pain. Pros: - Small and compact - A little bit goes a long way - Soothing Cons: - Menthol is very strong (almost too intense) - Rollerball gets stuck sometimes - Not as effective for chronic pain!! For regular workouts, shin splints, or a twisted ankle, I think this product is great! However, it is less effective for general pain or muscle tension - would not advise using for anyone experiencing chronic pain. I would recommend this for quick temporary pain relief on the go! Overall satisfying product.

My stress level is through the roof and I have been working 10 plus hours a day, mostly staring at a computer. My neck has taken the brunt of it though. I used to have aches and spasms in my neck occasionally. That was usually corrected with a day or so of nsaids. Lately, the tension has been horrific. I find myself having to constantly correct myself from being so tense. This little roll on has saved my life. My neck has been spasming so bad that I am getting headaches constantly. As soon as I start to feel the tension in my neck, I use the biofreeze. In less then 60 seconds I noticed relief. At first it just felt wet but I quickly realized that it the cooling effect from the biofreeze. It provided immediate relief that you can feel starting to spread through the area that is applied too. I will be keeping this in my purse to use it as needed. I love that it is topical and isn’t a nsaid or acetaminophen. If you are looking for quick relief. This is your savior. Also, it smells great and not “medicated” at all.

I overdid putting out holiday decorations and pounding stakes into the ground with a rubber mallet didn't sit well with my shoulder or bicep. After several days of tight, sore upper arm and shoulder I tried Biofreeze and it worked like a charm. It rolled on easily and the cooling menthol sensation started quickly. In a few minutes the pain was mostly gone and the arm was looser. Very pleased and highly recommend!
