You just roll it on let it dry and you have great relief for hours on end for tired, achey, or over worked muscles. The smell is not to over-powering and goes away as it dries quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came at the perfect time as I have a pinched nerve in my neck. I have been using different pain relief creams to help deal with the pain. This smells heavily of chemicals. I get much more chemical smell than menthol smell. I can smell this before and after applying. The roller ball is really nice and does make application much easier. I am able to use this without needing someone else to help me apply it. The ball applies a decent amount as well. It is mess free which is also great. I am not sure this one works for me though. After applying, I did not feel any type of cold or hot therapy. I did not feel anything once applied and it did not help with my pain. I reapplied after a few hours and still did not feel anything or any relief. I was expecting a freezing type of feel like other rollers/creams like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very mild smelling gel that applies smoothly, with a fine layer of ointment from a roller ball. Love these types of applicators. You don't have to put on gloves. Nor will your hands stink! The gel itself is not too long lasting - maybe an hour or so. It does do the job. It brings about a very cool feeling to the area, which tricks your nerves into dulling the sensation of pain, similar to an actual ice pack. I kind of like that it does not stay with you for several hours. The smell, while not too overbearing, can get on your clothes and last a little while. I have used it both, at the end of the day, or about an hour before I am going to shower up. That way, whatever residue is on me, is not on me in public. The main active ingredient is menthol. I have used it on my chest and on my forearm. Worked just fine for my needs.
