I like the roll on It sure does make it less messy. It’s not sticky it dries quickly and within a few minutes I can feel it’s starting to work. I also like that it is completely free of parabens and propylene glycol. I would recommend this product for anybody that has back pain or sore muscles.

My partner was having severe hip pain from strain, and after a minute of rolling this on, he said the pain lessened and he had some relief that helped him sleep. It smells minty, as expected. It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave a mess. It dried quickly and evenly. This is our new go to for muscle aches and pains.

Also, the roll-on is easier to use for easy to reach large areas. I would not recommend for an area you cannot reach properly or need more precise rubbing like your fingers then a gel maybe better. The great thing is there is no mess on your hands.

I figured it worked like every other brand out there and boy, was I wrong. My knee pain before using this was a 7, I was to the point of crying. About 3 minutes after rolling it onto my knee and surrounding areas it felt amazing. It went down to a 3. It was actually manageable. My only suggestion is, even though it's a roll on I would definitely wash your hands after. It does burn.

I really prefer this roll-on applicator. It helps with precise application and even better, it keeps you from getting the product on your hands. My physical therapist recommends the Biofreeze brand. I will definitely keep this as a staple in my medicine cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came at the perfect time as I have a pinched nerve in my neck. I have been using different pain relief creams to help deal with the pain. This smells heavily of chemicals. I get much more chemical smell than menthol smell. I can smell this before and after applying. The roller ball is really nice and does make application much easier. I am able to use this without needing someone else to help me apply it. The ball applies a decent amount as well. It is mess free which is also great. I am not sure this one works for me though. After applying, I did not feel any type of cold or hot therapy. I did not feel anything once applied and it did not help with my pain. I reapplied after a few hours and still did not feel anything or any relief. I was expecting a freezing type of feel like other rollers/creams like this.

I bought my first roll-on after an ankle injury and have never looked back. Biofreeze is so easy to use and provides a quick topical relief that lasts a long time. I find it especially helpful before going to sleep when I would ordinarily notice the pain more intensely.
