It seems to penetrate the pain area of muscles and joints with a cooling sensation. The roll on is very easy to use! It is helpful on the back as well! I definitely would recommend it!

I recently started having pain in my shoulder and arm and thought it would be a great time to use it. The product is very compact, which makes it easy to travel with if needed. I appreciated the roll on feature because ir did have a strong medical smell and I didn't want to have to squeeze it out and spread it on. The roll on allowed me to put it right where I needed it without much mess, which was great. It did smell pretty strong, which I did not like. As far as it working, I can't say I felt any relief from it given the pain I was feeling in the shoulder. I tried it several times over a few days and not much relief. It could be the type of pain I'm experiencing, I'm not sure but it didn't really help me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves this Bio Freeze Pain Relief Gel. He has problems in his shoulder. The Gel goes on easy. Rolling it on is easy than spreading it on. The pain disappears in minutes. He can't say enough about it.

The applicator is just like the roll on deoderants of years past and is easy and less messy to use than applying it by hand. What is nice about the roll-on applicator is that you can press hard and get a massage. This has been nice after a hard (but fun) day of skiing. I massage my knees and the cooling effect sinks in and feels great. Also, I can massage my lower back with the applicator and get relief. The gel absorbs fast and does not leave a residue. Like this Biofreeze application!

The feature of the roll on allows you to put in just enough and doesn’t leave the skin feeling too oily or wet from putting on too much gel. The pain relief was excellent as I felt a warm sensation around the areas I rolled on the medication. I used it for sore knees that typically give me problems on stairs and after application there was a few days of relief from pain on stairs before having to apply again. Great product for localized pain relief
