It has a pleasant scent that does not overpower the senses when applying at bedtime and let's you wake up feeling normal again. The Biofreeze is easy to apply with a rollerball applicator tip that distributes the product evenly to the area desired. I used it on my lower back and my husband had me apply it to his calves (legs not livestock). We both had very good pain relief, although he had the advantage of a massage with application! I would definitely recommend this product over any other topical pain relief product in the market with no hesitation.

It smells amazing which is a huge plus. I love that you roll it on instead of having to spread it on with your hands. Roll on application is so much easier and less messy. Most of my kids are in sports and dance so their prone to get body aches and sore muscles. I also get a lot of migraines and headaches so this was a great relief for that and it worked pretty quickly. Thankfully this didn’t have an awful or strong smell and didn’t go on oily or greasy like other leading brands so that was a plus!

It is a simple roll in the you apply to the sore muscle area for quick pain relief. This did not leave a greasy feel and the scent is not medicinal or unpleasant. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used biofreeze before but not with roll on applicator. I do like the ease of using the roll on especially when in a hurry. For some reason I don't think the roll on is as effective as the gel. I have various levels and locations of pain due to standing on feet all day, as well as having multiple sclerosis. The biofreeze does offer some relief for me, but doesn't take all the pain away. I like the cool feeling it offers, which also I think distracts me from the pain. The smell does diminish after a while, but you can still smell it, however it is much less than similar products on market. I would recommend to anyone who has mild to somewhat moderate pain.
