Great price for enameled cast iron Dutch oven. I really can’t understand why someone would pay 4-5 times the price of one of these because it has a fancy French name.

The white interior finish is excellent for seeing how well the cooking is progressing and helpful to prevent burning your ingredients! We love this cookware!

I bought the purple one for myself & ordered 4 more colors for Christmas presents! Going to add some ingredients for a soup & maybe some pot holders! Voila!

Really well made product at a great price over comparable Dutch ovens elsewhere. Good sized bottom surface but still fits on my largest ceramic cooktop burner in the front. Yes it is heavy as all of the larger ones are. I got mine in a purple eggplant color and I am quite happy with how it heats up and maintains heat cooking at a simmer even when I lower the burner temperature. Made a large pot of Bolognese sauce with meatballs in it and it cleaned up pretty easily. Great for stews and slow braising larger roasts with vegetables. Can go into the oven after searing meats or sautéing vegetables for longer braising times. Just keep a level of liquid in it to avoid scorching the bottom.

I bought this dutch oven because it was enamelled. I have two others and I will use this in place of the non-enamelled one that I have which I still use. I will use this for bread, soups, stews, slow baking, etc. I find that I use dutch ovens more often in place of my oven and slow cooker. I recently made a beef stew using a Southern Living recipe which closely matched what I had at the family table when I was much younger and was happy with the results. I just washed it and seasoned the rims on the oven and lid and touch it up after using it.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. I purchased one two years ago for our mother and ever since she has coveted it. Mama uses it all the time and loves the heavy duty pot that can go from stovetop to oven seamlessly. It is a great addition to any cook's arsenal.

Dutch Ovens are the best pot in your kitchen and it often becomes a family heirloom. I purchase this Dutch Oven in Teal Blue and it is a beautiful as the picture. This oven was a gift to someone new to cooking. The wonderful things people discovered while staying at home…”Cooking you say…what is that?” One meal out of the Dutch Oven and suddenly they’re a Chef…. funny what an oven will do. It currently gets used every Sunday and I get to hear all about the tender roast, the moist chicken, spare ribs, etc. For those buying the Instant Pot great appliance (I recently purchased) HOWEVER the Dutch provides the same tenderness and the overall cooking times are the same. You can also open it if you want add seasoning, check it see if you need to add more time or not, and it can be opened right away. The only time I would not recommend a Dutch oven is if you can not lift beyond 10lbs from the oven and I would caution seniors to get a smaller one due to the weight. It also gets EXTREMLY Hot so be cautious. Other than that I absolutely love my Dutch oven and as for the cast iron skillet...its not a myth cast iron skillets are the best skillet you will ever buy.

I absolutely love my dutch ovens. I bought a 7 qt and a 5 quart one. It holds heat so..... don't treat it like your regular cookware or you'll be sorry. I made chili on Warm in my pot. It was boiling after a couple of hours. If I can get Sam's to do a 2 pack in like a 2 or 3 quart, I'll be set.

What can I say.... my electric blue Tramontina Dutch Oven rocks ! It cleans effortlessly no matter what I cook. I bake gluten free artisan loaves regularly so it lives on my stove top. It’s lid doubles it’s use as it works on all my pans even my frying pan ! Love it - not to mention best value Dutch oven I found with incredible style :)
