We’ve only used it a couple of times, but love it. It’s bigger and cheaper than most we compared it to. Love the bright red. Cleans super easy. And looks great when brought to gatherings. Only complaint would be the handle on top gets hot when cooking, so you have to wear an oven mit

Gifted the purple version to a family member for Christmas. She loves it. She has been wanting a cast iron Dutch oven for years and couldn’t decide which one to buy. So I made the choice for her. Always wanted a large soup kettle, finally made the splurge. The dark Navy color with gold knob is just stunning. I have been cooking up soups every week and it is easy in this large pot with plenty of room and non stick. Cooks evenly too. Heavy when washing, but not an issue as the pot is great quality cast iron. Love it!

As always, Sams Club does not disappoint! I had been looking at the red Tramontina dutch oven at my local Sams but wanted something other than that color to compliment the decor in my kitchen. I found smaller versions in various colors sold at much higher prices in a few stores and online. One day i just happened to get on my Sam's app and there it was! And the cherry on top? $10 off the regular price plus free shipping!! The pot itself is just beautiful and I couldn't believe how many colors Sam's offers!! It is very heavy and just picking it up lets you know it is a quality item! So far I have only used it on the stovetop to make a huge batch of chili and it worked so much better than my large stockpot as it really holds the heat better and allowed me to cook at a lower temp. Next on the menu is my mom's Sunday after church roast with carrots and potatoes. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

This Dutch Oven is everything you hope for and then some,it performs superbly, thick walled,enameled cast iron, from searing to braising, it retains it heat. Comparable to much more pricier ones. It is even rated as a recommended buy in Cooks magazine. Have fun and enjoy all the benefits of awesomely cooked foods you will eat......

i was a bit leery about the quality when i saw the price compared to other dutch ovens, but it actually turned out to be one of the best purchases that we made over the holiday season. i cant imagine what would be different in an oven that cost hundreds of dollars more, this is a great product

I bought this as a gift last Christmas and the person I bought this for just loves it and uses it all the time. I thought to myself why didn't I buy one for me. So this year it was my turn. Love the red. Shipping was fast, plus the size is great and most important is the cost, it compares to those high end ones and no one would ever know.

I love this dutch oven. It's extremely heavy and I love the color. I chose red. I've only used it once since I purchased it, but it cooks great. I love the enamel coating on the dutch oven. I have a cast iron dutch oven with no coating and I've found they can be difficult to keep cleaned and seasoned, With this one you don't have that issue. Looking forward to trying all kinds of recipes in it.

I read the reviews, including the one in The Test Kitchen's Dutch Oven book and those on-line, then I saw the price at Sam's. Had to give it a try and went with it. Follow the directions on the box for seasoning the rim of the lid and pan and you are good. You have to remember it is a cast iron pan covered with enamel to a point. Just give the edges of the lid and pan a rub with oil now and then, just like cast iron pans, and you should be fine. Love this dutch oven!

I love cooking in a Dutch oven. I have a Le Creuset and this by Tramontina and they both perform exceptionallt well. I have had the le Creuset for 12-13 years now, and the Tramontina I was a recent gift, so time will tell how it holds up. I love it! Wish they made a bigger size!
