I purchased one for myself, I did not want to spend tons of money on a big name brand. Love it! Perfect family size. I was given the advice to place the bottom from a coffee can ( large use can opener ) on the burner to keep the bottom from scorching. It worked great and distributes the heat very well. I loved it so much, I ordered my sister one for Christmas!

I absolutely love my dutch ovens. I bought a 7 qt and a 5 quart one. It holds heat so..... don't treat it like your regular cookware or you'll be sorry. I made chili on Warm in my pot. It was boiling after a couple of hours. If I can get Sam's to do a 2 pack in like a 2 or 3 quart, I'll be set.

I purchased this more for the aesthetic than the functionality. I am renovating the kitchen, and thought this would look beautiful on the stovetop. I do plan to use it though! I also love the gold handle on top of the lid - perfect for my white and gold kitchen!

As always, Sams Club does not disappoint! I had been looking at the red Tramontina dutch oven at my local Sams but wanted something other than that color to compliment the decor in my kitchen. I found smaller versions in various colors sold at much higher prices in a few stores and online. One day i just happened to get on my Sam's app and there it was! And the cherry on top? $10 off the regular price plus free shipping!! The pot itself is just beautiful and I couldn't believe how many colors Sam's offers!! It is very heavy and just picking it up lets you know it is a quality item! So far I have only used it on the stovetop to make a huge batch of chili and it worked so much better than my large stockpot as it really holds the heat better and allowed me to cook at a lower temp. Next on the menu is my mom's Sunday after church roast with carrots and potatoes. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought this for my daughter who had mentioned that she would like to have a Dutch oven. They were so much money that she didn't want to spend that much. They were way over $100.00. I saw this on the site. It was a great price and nice colors so I sent her one. She was thrilled! She kept saying how nice it was and the dark gray was really pretty. Little did she know that I had spent much less than she thought. She is hard to please and this was a big hit! Sam's does it again, quality without the high price.

This is the largest Dutch oven I own. It cooks everything evenly. It is large enough for an 8 lb roast plus vegetables with space left over. The quality is excellent. The only drawback is the weight. It is just a tad heavy so you’ll need some muscles to move it around especially when full. I would definitely recommend this.

Dutch Ovens are the best pot in your kitchen and it often becomes a family heirloom. I purchase this Dutch Oven in Teal Blue and it is a beautiful as the picture. This oven was a gift to someone new to cooking. The wonderful things people discovered while staying at home…”Cooking you say…what is that?” One meal out of the Dutch Oven and suddenly they’re a Chef…. funny what an oven will do. It currently gets used every Sunday and I get to hear all about the tender roast, the moist chicken, spare ribs, etc. For those buying the Instant Pot great appliance (I recently purchased) HOWEVER the Dutch provides the same tenderness and the overall cooking times are the same. You can also open it if you want add seasoning, check it see if you need to add more time or not, and it can be opened right away. The only time I would not recommend a Dutch oven is if you can not lift beyond 10lbs from the oven and I would caution seniors to get a smaller one due to the weight. It also gets EXTREMLY Hot so be cautious. Other than that I absolutely love my Dutch oven and as for the cast iron skillet...its not a myth cast iron skillets are the best skillet you will ever buy.

Covered dutch ovens were used by my Mother and Grandmother as they prepared meals for their families. These pots were massive and capacity and had to be handled with both hands because of the weight, even while empty. This Tramontina dutch oven is just like remember with my Mom and Grandmother. I didn't know they made them that way anymore.

This pot is heavy! I was surprised at how much heat it held in. I love the non-stick enamel surface that allows me to fry meat for soups in it for soup bases. Easy to clean, with the exception of it being so heavy. I'm always worried I will chip the enamel, but so far--it's held up wonderfully.

My Wife has been wanting one for a long time. She wanted one for making fried chicken. One of her best dishes! When I saw the price($29), I made it a point to make to the one day sale(ordered it online and free shipping). And it came in her fav color, purple. It was for Christmas , but gave it to her early. She loves it. Her chicken cooks so well in it and I've made ham & bean. Gonna get other size. Best all around pot we ever got!
