Not the best

This was awful! The first piece I tossed in the trash bc it fell apart when I took it out of the package. We didn't have anything else for dinner so I went ahead and prepared the other filets. The other filets weren't as mush. I won't buy again. My daughter purchased a few months ago. She didn't mention the salmon being mushy, but she did complain that it was full of bones.

I bought this salmon once and as I was rinsing the filets off I noticed some scales in the water. Thinking it was a mistake I moved onto the next filet, this time I ran a knife across the skin and the entire thing still had scales. Pretty off putting! Wont purchase this again!

Healthy and good quality salmon

We eat sockeye salmon regularly. This is the first time I have purchased this brand from Sam’s. It is a very poor quality salmon. Hate to say but it seems to be what is left over after the salmon run. All the Sockeye salmon we have ate in the past has been a deep red meat and great flavor. This one was very pail, lighter than farm raised Atlantic salmon. A spongy texture that would crumble apart as it was being broiled. I will never buy this Salmon from Sam’s again. GROSS

Is it really salmon?

We grill these salmon fillets once or twice a week. I dip the fillets in olive oil to keep the fish from sticking to the grates. I sprinkle sparingly with sea salt and generously with restaurant style black pepper only on the raw fish, leaving the skin side alone. Set gas grill to 420 degrees. I also heat wood chips for a smokey flavor. Cook approximately 16 minutes.
